Review | Smashbox Beauty To Go Palette

This is the Smashbox Beauty To Go Palette; it contains 12 eyeshadows, 4 cream liners and 1 eye primer. It's packaged in a 'leather looking' case, which i personally don't like i love it when packaging looks really creative and although its sleek looking i just don't like the packaging.

The inside however i do really like! I love the colour range of the shadows - really versatile range and i think there is something here for everyone. The layout of them reminds me a lot of Urban Decay palettes but these are numbered instead of having names.

You also get a look book filled with different eye looks, using various combinations of the eyeshadows in the palette. I'm debating whether to make a little blog series out of this, creating the looks mentioned and showing you guys - let me know if that is something you'd be interested in. As well, the books a clever little idea so people get more use out of the palette and helping people who might be less familiar with make-up be able to do more.

They very kindly give you a little eye primer too, now Ive not actually tried this yet so i can't really comment on it but I'm looking forward trying this out. So I'll have to get back to you on this!

Shades 1, 2, 3, 4
Shades 5, 6, 7, 8
Shades 9, 10, 11, 12
Shades 13, 14, 15, 16

The eyeshadows have good pigmentation a couple aren't as pigmented as others but they are very buildable, they blend easily and i found them pretty easy to work with. I believe this palette retails for about £35 but it can be found on Amazon and some discount beauty website for much cheaper, I'm liking using this palette and will definitely get a lot of use out of it.
Have you tried it?

Car Boot Sale Haul #4 & Few Extra Purchases

I've decided to take a break from doing make-up mix ups, they will be back probably around about the time i go back to uni because its easier have set make-up to use but the novelty of it is wearing off a little bit and I'm finding myself getting a bit annoyed with it so I'm going to take a break from it for a couple of weeks then start it up again.
I do love doing the make-up mix ups but i don't want it to become more like a chore to do than the fun challenge its meant to be!

I went to the car boot sale yesterday and got up at the usually silly time of 6:20am and got there for about 7ish? It wasn't as good as other weeks Ive been and i got a bit annoyed with people there - a woman who was running a stall was really rude to another lady who was trying to haggle down the price of a dress or something. She had a really rude tone and stated that the price she said is final and she wasn't going to change it and i understand its a pain being haggled with to lower the priced but there was not any need for how rude she was, if i was the other lady id have thrown the item back at her and walked off. Needless to say i walked straight past her stall.

I actually only picked up four items today, i would have liked more but these were the only things that caught my eye.

Boots Natural Collection Body Spray in Dewberry
This smells lovely and i thought it'd be great to wear around the house or if I'm not going anywhere that really justifies using my more expensive perfumes. This was only 50p.

FCUK Pure Body Spray
Similar to the last body spray, another one to have for more everyday use. I love the scent of this, and again i only paid 50p for it.

Benefit It Stick
Again only 50p, Ive been intrigued to try this for ages so with it being so cheap i really don't care if i end up hating it because its better to have wasted only 50p than something like £14.50 (i may be wrong with that price) I'm looking forward to trying this, but I'm going to give it a good sharpen to remove the top layers whilst its second hand.

Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow Duo in Strawberry Fudge
Another 50p bargain, I'm really looking forward to trying this out because i think the colours are just gorgeous and will compliment each other really well.

That's all i got from the car boot sale, but i did nip round the shops as well and picked up a few things.

I didn't get anything too exciting but i thought you might be interested in seeing what they are because they are technically beauty related products.

Skin Therapy Eye Make Up Remover - 98p | Wilkinson
The Simple Eye Make Up Remover i was using it literally on its last legs so i decided to just pick up a cheap make up remover to put me on for a bit.

Nair Sensitive Hair Remover Cream - 99p | Pound Plus
I got this from a pound shop but it is available in a lot of other shops as well i.e. Bodycare, Wilkinson etc... My reason for buying this is pretty self explanatory so i won't insult your intelligence.

Pretty:Perfect Eye Roll On Concealer Medium Tint with Citrus - 79p | Savers
I was curious to see how well this worked for just 79p, I'm curious as to whether it can remove the awful dark circles that are accumulating under my eyes. I'll do a review on it as well, if people are interested?

So yeah, that is everything i got today!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend

Review | Lush Eau Roma Water

Hello everyone,
I'd never heard of Lush Eau Roma Water until Essiebutton mentioned it on her youtube channel and she was raving about it in one of her monthly favourites I was instantly intriqued. After a little trip to Lush a couple of weeks ago; i decided to try it out, i only got the smaller bottle (100g) and that was about £3.95. I didnt want to buy the bigger one just incase it didnt work for me and then it'd have just gone to waste.

Lush says: "Close your eyes tightly and spritz directly onto the face and leave to dry. Can be used for removing traces of cleansers and face products – but can also be used at any time of the day as a quick facial refresher or to cool the face."

I have used this everyday since i bought it and i can't praise it highly enough, it feels so refreshing on the skin and extremely hydrating. It's also nice to use throughout the day if you feel that you need to freshen up a little bit, i love this and it has definately become a staple part of my skincare routine. Since using it i have felt a difference in my skin it feels really hydrated and healthy.

It has rose water and lavendar in it; the rose water helps to reduce redness and calms the skin and the lavendar softens and balances sebum productions. I am so glad that i decided to try this out, i really don't know what i did without it beforehand. I cannot thank Essiebutton enough for introducing me to this wonder, i definitely plan to buy the full-size when i've used this one up!

Have you tried this?

Pen Pal Haul

Hello everyone,
I got quite a lot of positive feedback from the post i did on my pen pals sometime during July, so i decided that i might start showing you what I get sent each time. Obviously, im not going to share with you the contents of the letter but i thought it'd be fun to show you the things i get sent. Let me know if you think this is a good idea, and it's something you want to see?

Also, i want to apologise because these photo are not as clear has they could be, and i didnt realise this until i had uploaded them onto my laptop and i really didnt want to go and take them all again, i know that makes me a naughty blogger but i hope you forgive me, and ill make sure they are much better next time!

Writing Sets
She sent me some these little note/letter writing sets that are just awesome. Both of these suit me down to a T because i love Alice in Wonderland and Polka Dots, so she choose well with these. I really like them and i can't wait to use them and send people lovely little notes.

I've been sent Twizzlers a couple of times and i love them, so tasty! This time she's sent me Cherry ones to try and they are bitesize too - so i can't wait to try these out! I adore red liquorice and it ruins my life that its so difficult to get hold of here in England.

Nestle Butterfingers & Pretzel M&M's
I didnt add these into the main photo because i had to pick this package up from the delivery office and because it's been really hot today i put them straight into the fridge to avoid melting and then i decided upstairs to do a post on it. Anyways, she sent me 4 of the Nestle Butterfingers but i ate one on the way home (so tasty!!) and Pretzel M&M's, im looking forward to trying these also because in England we only have plain M&Ms and the peanuts ones, i also thing we have 'crispy' ones but i don't know if i've just made that up!

I thought this was so sweet, when i last sent her a package i cut lots of wrapping paper into strips to cushion everything and she used those strips and turned them into these stars, and i really love that! Ive put them into a tin for the time-being and i want to get a little glass jar and put them into it, and i'll use it to decorate my room.

& that is everything,
Thank you Ale!

Review | Ogario Restore & Shine Hair Masque

Hello everyone,
Ogario had a offer on their website where if you emailed them with your address they'd send you a 15ml sample of their Restore and Shine Hair Masque.

I'd actually never heard of Ogario until someone else mentioned this offer on their blog unfortunately Ive forgotten who that was so i do apologise. I requested my sample at the time my hair was in bad condition and i was looking to try pretty much anything to give it a little bit of life back. The sample arrived pretty quickly and came with a nice little information card and some guidelines on how to use the masque.

The first thing i did when i got this was smell it? I don't quite know why it was just my initial reaction but i am so glad i did it. This has to be one of the best smelling hair products i have ever come across,  if Lush Cosmetics and Sherbet Lemon sweets had a baby this is how it would smell. Incredible.

The website says that this product is....

"Lovingly developed to combat the effects of chemical treatments, sun damage and styling, our luxurious masque helps leave hair soft, shiny and manageable. Our unique Protein Protect formula is combined with vitamin-rich avocado oil and the active goodness of Sage and Lavender for healthy hair. Enjoy the uplifting aromas of our blend of essential oils and give your hair the care it deserves."

I thoroughly enjoyed using this hair masque, it left my hair feeling incredible soft and looking shiny. I'm so glad i requested this sample, as I'm just swooning over this product right now. There is still plenty left in my sample too so I'll be able to get multiple uses out of it!

The full size retails at £26.50 for 200ml, which is pretty steep for my liking but it may be an investment i might just have to make.

Have you tried it before or will you be requesting a sample?
