100 Follower Giveaway

I mentioned in a recent post that a couple of weeks ago i reached the 100 follower milestone, and i've promised myself when i first started that i would do a giveaway as a way for me to say thank you. I'm still surprised that i've got 100 people following my blog, it's insane - but i'm grateful to every single one of you so thank you so much :D

Onto the giveaway:

- MUA Professional Eyeshadow Palette in Glamour Nights
- Chit Chat Juicy Lipstick in Peony
- Topshop Blush in Neon Rose
- Leighton Denny Nail Polish in Babydoll
- 17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Spring Petal
- 17 Lasting Fix Nail Polish in Glisten
- Refresh & Revive Facial Sheet Mask

I may also add in a couple of extra things too :)

To Enter:
- You must be a follower of my blog (i will be checking)
- Leave a comment on this post only, and answer the following questions
One thing you like about my blog?
One thing you dislike about my blog?
What type of posts you'd like to see more of?
- Also, your email address so i can contact you if you win!
- If you are under 16 please make sure you have permission to pass your address onto me, so i can send you the prize. (I don't want either of us to be getting into trouble)

- There is only ONE entry per person, so no spamming the comments. Also, tweeting about it or doing a post about it will not gain you extra entries - i want everyone who enters to have a fair chance.

The giveaway is open internationally and will end 18th May 2012 at Midnight (UK time)
& i will be using a generator to randomly select the winner.

GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

This is the first giveaway i've ever done & depending on how well this goes will determine whether i continue to do more in the future!

Hope you like it & Good Luck

Review | Gosh Soft 'n' Shine Lip Balm

This is not my image, taken from here

Before i start, i just want to make a disclaimer about the above image. Being the idiot that i am, i took photos of how the product looked on with the intention of doing a post about it but for some reason i didnt take photos of the product nor did i swatch it - i'm an idiot, i know. So rather than let this post go to waste i just found this image on google - i have linked the site that its taken from just to emphasize that the above photo isnt mine and im not taking credit for it. All credit goes the person who took the photo and to the site i got it from.

Now onto the product...

The shade i have is 'Perfect Plum' it's a gorgeous magenta/purple shade. It's very moisturising lip balm with a sheer application, and it has incredible pigmentation for a lip balm.

please excuse the awful photo of my lips

This product has been gathering dust in my drawer, ive had it for ages and it was only by chance that i came across it whilst sorting out what make-up to bring back with me (interested in a post to see how much i brought home?) As you can see from the photo it leaves a really nice tint on your lips, great for those days that you just dont feel like wearing lipstick but want something moisturising.

I can't confirm this, but i imagine this to be like the Revlon Lip Butters - only cheaper. Obviously, i haven't tried the Revlon Lip Butters yet other than swatching in the shops so i could very much be wrong - maybe ill do a proper comparison when i eventually get my hands on some!

I believe it retailed for £4.99 but i could be wrong, as it was quite some time ago that i bought it. Actually annoyed with myself for not realising soon how much i like this product. Definitely going to look into what other shades they have.

and now for a terribly posed photo of my face

Have you tried the Gosh Soft 'n' Shine Lipbalm? Thoughts?

Monthly Favourites | March

Elf Studio Stippling Brush
I've had this brush for quite some time and every time i've used it - it just hasn't impressed me. I decided to try it again, with the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation and i have to say it has definitely changed my mind. The application with this brush is so good, it blends out perfectly. I've been loving using this brush this month.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation in True Ivory
This was also in my last monthly favourites - i adore this foundation so much! Best Drugstore foundation i've tried so far.

Mac Amplified Creme Lipstick in Chatterbox
If you read my blog regularly, then you'll know that i recently bought myself two Mac Lipsticks, this was one of them. I'm in love with this lipstick and i've been wearing it practically everyday. It's a gorgeous bright pink shade,, but it is a wearable bright colour. I love it so much and can see it featuring in many more posts to come.

Mac Eyeshadow in Satin Taupe
I've had this eyeshadow in my collection for quite some time, it is one of those shades that is constantly in and out of my make-up bag. This month it's in - it's a gorgeous brown taupe shade that is very versatile, it's perfect to use in the crease to create a perfect smokey eye but it's also easy to wear all over the lid as a base colour.

L'Oreal Hip Jelly Balm in Plush
This was also featured in my last months favourites. It applies in a gorgeous light pink shade and it looks like a gloss on, it feels nice on and ive been keeping it in my bag to top up and use on the go.

Percy & Reed Splendidly Silky Moisturising Conditioner
This is possibly the best conditioner i have ever used on my hair, and im so gutted that i didnt get chance to pick and stock up on some more glamour magazines with all the hair products in. My hair feels amazing after i have used this, its makes it so soft and silky. I just love it.

Diego Dalla Palma, The Lipstick - 47
A gorgeous corally pink shade - perfect for spring/summer. Another lipstick ive been reaching for quite alot this month.

The Hunger Games - Book 1
Now this will probably be no surprise. I'd be meaning to read this for quite sometime, and was determined to have it read before the film came out. After all the hype it has recieved i was unsure what to expect, and i have to say it didnt disappoint - im currently on 3rd book and can not wait to finish it and see how it ends! Definately a worthwhile read.
