Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette

Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette

I'm sure you are all sick of the sight of the Urban Decay's Naked Basic Palette reviews but i just had to throw my two cents in and share my opinion too. This palette was a bit of a impulse buy, it was on my wishlist but i didn't really plan on buying it just yet but when i saw it on buyapowa for £14.50, it just seemed to good an opportunity to be missed

This is such a fantastic eyeshadow palette and i can understand why there's such a hype surrounding it. It's filled with six nude shades, which are all matte. Like all Urban Decay eyeshadows; these are really good quality, really pigmented and despite only having 6 eyeshadows, there is such a good variety of nude shades that you can come up with a wide variety of eye looks.

I really like the packaging of this as well, it's really sturdy and a handy compact size (almost half the size of the regular naked palette) so it's ideal for travelling and the sturdy packaging means it won't damaged either. The mirror inside the palette is a really big, handy size - I think I'm going to take this palette with me when i go to Rome because it's just ideal, its filled will every eyeshadow i need and will cover me for all occasions.

My favourite shades in this are Walk of Shame and Naked 2 - i wear them pretty much every day and together they create a really simple every day neutral eye look, paired with some winged eyeliner and a few coats of mascara, you've got yourself a really quick and easy yet pretty make up look.

This palette normally retails for about £20.00; which i think is such a great price and i would happily pay that much for it. It's definitely a staple in my make up collection and i know i'll get a lot of use out of it as i've been wearing it loads already.

Have you got the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette yet?

  4. I've only just found your blog - it looks gorgeous! I have this palette (one of the only high-end makeup products I own) and I love it, just like everyone else seems to :-) I use it pretty much every day, usually with Venus over the top of whatever other colours I'm using. Maybe this defeats the point of having a matte palette, but it isn't too super-shimmery and I like it!
