Benefit 'Fake Up' Concealer

As I'm sure many of you are aware already, myself and many other bloggers attended the Benefit Fake Up launches that have been taking place all around the country, at the event we were very kindly give all three shades of the product to take home with us.

So what is it? Fake Up is a a new Hydrating concealer that aims to hydrate, brighten and conceal those pesky dark circles under the eyes and also your blemishes. The creamy concealer itself is surrounded by a hydrating ring which locks the moisture in to the skin, it also contains Vitamin E and apple seed extract to help hydrate the skin and to stop your concealer from creasing throughout the day.

The packaging of this is just stunning - it's almost like a lipstick bullet, which i usually avoid concealers that are like that as i just don't get along with those but with this it really works. The shiny silver packaging with the pink embellished detailing really makes this product look super sleek and i just think its really pretty.

Concealer is a item that I'm forever on the search for that 'holy grail' concealer because i have dark circles and never seem to find an a concealer that can cover it to my satisfaction - however, i think Fake Up may possibly take that holy grail title. Ive been testing out this concealer for a good few weeks now and so far i am seriously impressed with it. Its so hydrating on the skin and it blends out really nice without leaving being heavy or looking cakey. The best bit? It covers my dark circles and it stays put without creasing.

The Fake Up Concealer retails for £18.50, which may seem a little expensive but i personally think this concealer is worth every penny. Its the only concealer i have come across that can really cover my dark circles without looking like I've just piled on the make-up.

The best thing about this product is that its really versatile, you can apply a little to the brow bone to add a little highlight and a tip Benefit Head of Make Up artist Lisa Potter-Dixon gave us at the event was that the shade 'Deep' could be used to contour the face, which is something I've really been enjoying wearing - just apply it in a line along where your natural shadow should fall (suck in your cheeks, it'll help you locate it) and blend it out, i like to blend it out with my foundation brush so there are no harsh lines and it blends in to form a natural contour.

I'm so happy with this product and I'm so grateful to have been given all three shades at the event, it's a product i will definitely be repurchasing in the future and one i would highly recommend to anyone who is on the look out for a new hydrating concealer that will cover your dark circles and brighten your under eyes.

Have you tried the Benefit 'Fake Up' Concealer?
