Highlighters aren't something i have a lot of in my collection but they are products that i really like the idea of. I originally had the intention to buy a Topshop highlighter after being recommended it, but I decided to pick this up the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter instead.

Retailing at just £3, i figured it was worth trying this out first because if i decided it wasn't for me, i wouldnt have wasted as much money. Thankfully, i've been absolutely loving using this highlighter - i've been wearing it along the tops of my cheekbones to get a lovely healthy glow to the complexion. It's also nice to wear under the brow bone or down the bridge of your nose if you wanting a little extra glow.

Pink Shimmer is a pink toned highlighter which i personally think suits me really well, as it looks slightly more natural. It's not heavily pigmented which i like because it's a bit more buildable and not instant disco ball but it still packs a punch. Also, don't be fooled by how shimmery it looks because it doesn't transfer quite so heavy, it's actually applies onto the skin really beautifully and i get so many compliments whenever i wear this highlighter.

The packaging for this highlighter isn't the greatest; it's very cheap looking and also quite flimsy - i don't really mind that too much though because the product inside it is amazing and it's so affordable too so i can't complain too much. I do however, love the swirled, embellished look of the highlighter itself, i think that looks really pretty.

I really like this highlighter and for £3, i really don't think you can go wrong - it's a great product and its bank balance friendly!

What's your favourite highlighter?

  3. This looks sooo pretty! Love the swirly pattern too. My favourite highlighter at the moment is the Kevyn Aucoin celestial powder - which actually looks pretty similar to this!
