Benefit Hello Flawless Custom Powder Cover Up

Benefit Hello Flawless Custom Powder Cover Up

This is another one of the fabulous Benefit product that we were given in our goody bags at the Benefit Event i attended back in March, since then I've been testing out the 'Hello Flawless Custom Powder Cover Up! Powder is a product i use a lot of but I'm not one of those people who owns a variety of powders from lots of different brands with powders I'm usually very loyal, i buy one and stick with until its completely used up (unless its a naff powder, then I'm likely to stray)

I've never tried a high end powder before, so as soon as we got this i shoved the powder i was using aside and immediately started wearing this one - i was matched to the shade 'Gee, I'm Swell! Ivory!' I use it mostly to set my foundation rather than to wear alone but I personally do find this offers me a flawless finish, it doesn't cling to the skin, removes shine and its not obvious that you wearing it either which is a big plus to me - theres is nothing that annoys me more when i feel cakey or when it looks like the make up as just been piled on me. I've also read other reviews where people have said they've worn this alone on days they didn't quite feel like wearing foundation which i think is really good and its adds versatility to the product - I've not actually tried this myself so can't confirm how well it works or looks alone.

I also quite like the packaging of this, its simple, sleek and fun. It has a lift up compartment which holds both a brush and sponge, which i really liked - although i prefer to use my own powder brush i thought it was clever that they provided both options, besides these are great to keep in the compact if I'm travelling or want to take this powder with me on the go.

I really like this powder, it's a little expensive at £25.50 and if I'm honest, I'm not sure if i would spend that much on a powder mostly because although i use powder a lot its not a product i love to buy, its just a step i have in my routine (if that makes sense?) but this is a fantastic powder and I'm really glad i got the chance to try it out. If you are someone who is happy to pay more for powder then i would definitely recommend checking out this one.

Its available to buy online or at Benefit make-up counters.

  2. I'm like you, I hate spending loads of money on a powder because it's just one of those things I do to set my makeup. I've tried this a few times though when I've been in shops and I love it, just can't quite justify it! xx
