MUA Undress Me Too Palette

MUA Undress Me Too Palette

I'm having a bad day today; i woke up early to venture to my local car boot sale - I've not been in ages so i was looking forward to a nice little browse, i only got one thing but i didn't mind so much. In fact i was having a lovely morning until i went to the cash machine and the little sod swallowed my card, this is one of those things that I've always dreaded happening to me and today it happened - i have that many issues with Halifax that i had the number in my phone from a previous issue so i was able to phone them straight away and they're cancelling that card and sending me a new one. I'm really annoyed that this has happened - its always me that these kind of things happen to and I'm just tired of my crappy luck. Other little thing have been happening all day - nothing major but little things like laddering my tights, my printer not working, dropping things, smudging my nails and its just making my mood even worse.

Anyways, rant aside - here is my review of the MUA Undress Me Too Palette.

MUA Undress Me Too Palette

I won the MUA Undress Me Too Palette in the same giveaway i won the MUA Undressed palette and have been really looking forward to trying it out as it's been named the dupe to the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and i didn't own that palette at the time i received this. Now i still haven't tried my UD Naked 2 palette out yet as I've been testing this palette out so i can't actually confirm if it is a good dupe for it or not - but there are many existing reviews that I'm sure will tell you!

Tranquil, Exposed, Reveal, Wink, Obsessed and Corrupt

I personally think this palette is rather disappointing compared to all the other MUA palettes I've tried - it has a really nice range of shades but i found the pigmentation isn't as strong, some shade are really pigmented (mostly the shimmery shades) but then others like the very first few have barely have any - i noticed it was more the lighter shades that had a weaker pigment to them. However, i am really happy that MUA have finally given their eyeshadow shades names, so at least there is something good.

I also don't really like this packaging; i really think they should have stuck with the black casing as i think the white really cheapens it. With other products in the Undress Your Skin range the white looks really nice and sleek but on this palette i personally just don't like it.

I'm a little bit in between on this palette; its still an okay palette, it is usable but i'd find it hard to believe i'd reach for this one over my other palettes when they're much better and i just think compared to the other palettes that MUA do,  this palette is quite poor.

This palette retails for £4 and is available online or in Superdrug.
Now it's back to the uni work!

  1. I feel like we're both having as much bad luck as each other at the moment! Fingers crossed that things start looking up soon. :D

I have the Heaven and Earth palette and I love the colours in that but I've heard so many times how badly pigmented these ones are so I don't think I'll be buying it any time soon, which is a shame since I can't afford the UD palettes :(

    1. Aw thanks, you too!

I dont actually have the heaven and earth palette but i have that many neutral palettes that it seems silly for me to buy even more!

I was dissapointed in this palette especially in comparison to all their others! Aw, i was late to getting all the UD Palettes so im sure you'll get the one day :)
