Monthly Favourites | April

I have quiet a few favourites this month - honestly, i would include more if i could because I've been testing out a lot of products this month (if you've seen my big Rome Beauty Haul, you'll know why) and I've just been loving lots of them which makes me really happy but I've tried to narrow it down to as few products as possibly which has been quite hard because so many things have impressed me this month.

Benefit Fake Up Concealer (Light & Deep)
This is such a brilliant concealer, its so hydrating and long lasting and covers my dark circles better than any concealer I've tried. I've also been loving the shade 'Deep' in this product as a contour - it does sound strange but it works so well! I'm so impressed with these items!

H&M Spring Flower Blush
This blush is just stunning - i love the design of it, and the different shades of pink and peach means you can get so many colour combinations from it. I personally love to swirl them all together as it creates such a gorgeous pinky peach colour - its perfect for spring/summer and I'm loving this blush so much and its such a bargain as well.

Elemis Fresh Skin Loving Lips Quenching Lip Balm
I got this in Cosmopolitan whilst i was at the airport and it's been an absolute godsend -whilst i was away and the travelling there and back my lips have been really dry and this balm has really hydrated and softened them - it smells a bit like After Eights.

Rimmel London Apocalips in Celestial
I was really late onto the bandwagon with the Rimmel Apocalips and i really like them, out of the two i bought this is the shade I've worn the most - it's a mauve-y pink and I've really been enjoying wearing it. It has quite a distinct scent to it but i actually kinda like it - these have had such a huge hype around them and i can completely understand why.

MUA Every Lash Mascara
For such a cheap mascara, I'm really impressed with it. It lengthens my lashes really nicely, the brush  is very similar to the design of Benefit They're Real so it has the little sphere detail on the end to helps separate out the lashes more.

So...Kiss Me? Bodyspray
This is such a nostalgic scent to me and it literally takes me right back to my high school years. Bodycare were selling off a bodyspray and a 10ml perfume of this for £1.49 so i just couldn't resist, i took this to Rome with me and i wore it the whole time i was there - its smells really nice, its a very fruity scent and I've really been enjoying wearing it lately.

Topshop Magic Liner in Engraved
Normally, i just stick with my Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner but i picked this up when i had some vouchers for Topshop and its such a good liner. The nib of the felt tip is long and narrow buts its not too thin, i find its perfect size for me. Its so easy to apply but i do prefer felt tip liners as i think you can have more control over the application and I'm really liking using this one. This liner is super pigmented too; its a true black none of this fade to a dull grey business and its really long lasting - i wear my makeup from day to night and it hasn't faded on me during the entire time I've worn it. I think this liner is a winner.

B. Pure Micellar Water
This is such a good product - I've never tried Micellar water before and i really wanted to see what all the fuss was about and I'm starting to understand why everyone is raving over it at the moment. I use this after I've removed my make-up but it helps get rid of any bits that are left over and this really does cleanse my face

L'Oreal Caresse Lipstick in Rebel Red
I bought this after seeing Essiebutton feature it in one of her videos and i immediately wanted it, so whilst i was shopping for my beauty swap i decided to pick it up - it reminds me a lot of the Revlon Lip Butters and i really like it, its such a wearable red and i have no problem wearing this shade during the day. It feels really nice and moisturising on the lips and i really like the packaging of this too!

Strawberry Flyers
Not quite a beauty favourite, but these little bad boys are delicious - its basically red liquorice that has a sherbet filling inside and oh my, i can't get enough of these. So good!

  2. I've been trying Fake Up this month and I love it too... Definitely the best under eye concealer I've ever had. I'm still debating whether or not to get the Deep colour for contouring or not though xx
