Sephora Daily Make Up Brush Cleaner

Sephora Daily Make Up Brush Cleaner

I don't know about you but i find cleaning my brushes the most tedious and abysmal task ever. I'm such a naughty blogger and sometimes leave it a little longer than i probably should - i don't mean to but its just so boring.

When i was in Rome i picked up the Sephora Daily Make Up Brush Cleaner. It's an anti-bacterial formula, designed to quickly remove traces of make-up between applications. It works by spraying it onto the brushes and then wiping them with a lint-free cloth and let it air dry, there is no need to rinse and its super quick and easy. Of course, this isn't a replacement for deep cleaning your brushes - i think of it like dry shampoo, it keeps the brushes going in between washes. This does actually keep them clean, i used it on my Real Techniques brushes after using them and i can visibly see that it does remove the product.

I wasn't sure if I'd end up using it, because i used to have the Elf Daily Brush Cleaner and i never remembered to use it literally just sat on my shelf collecting dust. However, i have gotten myself in the habit of using the Sephora Daily Make Up Brush Cleaner right after I've finished applying all my make-up. The only negative thing i have to say about this is that I'm gutted i like it because I'm going to be able to replace it easily - damn the UK for not having Sephora.

I really like this, and although it can't fully replace the deep cleanse it makes me feel less guilty about not deep cleaning them as often as i could.

What do you use to clean your brushes?

  2. This sounds lovely but I hardly ever wash my make up brushes. I only use eyeshadow ones and very rarely use different colour x
