Kiko 30 Days Extension Day & Night Lash Treatment Mascaras

Kiko 30 Days Extension Day & Night Lash Treatment Mascaras

I bought these lash treatments from Kiko when i went to Rome but i purposely saved them to use for September as i knew i was going to my cousin's wedding and i loved the idea of these lengthening my lashes and saving me the bother of false lashes (wearing glasses and false lashes can sometimes be more hassle than its worth). I was also just really intrigued to see whether this would actually work or whether it would be more of a gimmicky kind of product.

So how does it work? Well you apply the mascara's everyday and night - the leaflet inside does say you can do it for 15 days but i chose to do 30 and they give you a lash extension that will last you for about 30days, you use the Daily Mascara in place of your usual mascara in your make up routine and the Night Mascara after you've cleansed your face to work wonders whilst you sleep.

Both mascara's are infused with special ingredients that work their magic on your lashes giving them a natural extension. Both mascaras normally retail for £7.90 each but both are currently on offer for £3.90 each, i believe i only paid about 4euros each for these so they're very budget friendly products.

Kiko 30 Day Extenstion Daily Treatment Mascara
This work just like a normal mascara and takes the place of your usual choice in daily make-up routine, this mascara is claims to have proven efficiency that acts on your natural lash development cycle bringing them to new lengths, The mascara has a "mobile" micro-encapsulation system, which penetrate into the lashes and moves along them toward their roots, where they can undertake their action and give the lashes a natural growth.

Growth abilities aside and looking at this as just a mascara; it's pretty awful and its an absolute terror for smudging so wearing it for work was a nightmare as id leave with little panda eyes - not a good look really. The very first time i was not impressed with this, it made my lashes look more like stumps than adding any length so i wasn't too excited on the month ahead but the more i wore the mascara and as the days went by i noticed that my lashes were starting to look longer with it, and it was no longer giving me stumpy lashes which i was happy about. The smudging however didn't stop so as a general mascara it's not something i would actively wear again.

Kiko 30 Days Night Treatment Booster
This is a colourless mascara that you'd apply on an evening time, id always apply it after id cleansed my face - it was nice to wear and didn't harden your lashes or leave them sticky. Like the daily mascara this is formulated with special ingredients like the "mobile" micro-encapsulation system that help increase the length of your lashes.

Because this was a night treatment i used to apply quite a lot of this on to the lashes just to give it an extra boost - i was naughty on a few occasions and forgot to apply this because applying this 'booster'  mascara after id just washed all my make up off was quite strange but i did like wearing this one.

So did it work? Well if you judge off those photo it doesn't look like it has but i personally could see a difference, it's mostly visible when i apply mascara but in certain lights i can see an extension on my lashes which probably sounds really strange but i couldn't capture it on an photo to show you which is annoying. It's not a huge extension by any means but i can definitely see some difference in my lashes.

All in all, these do work and if you want a cheap lash extension and are willing to be persistent then these are worth a shot but i personally couldn't be bothered with the hassle, although my lashes do feel longer i didn't like the daily mascara enough to want to ever wear it again so id rather just wear false lashes or find an alternative product because the smudging was such a pain.

Have you ever tried a lash extension treatment?
