What's In My Make-Up Bag | Autumn Edit

As each season dawns on us i like to have a little nosey in my make-up collection and switch up some of the products that go in my make up bag. I have more of my everyday products in my make up bag just because it makes it much easier for me in morning rather than having to rifle through my make-up drawers. Although i have selected these products for the season it doesn't mean i wont use any others in my collection, these are more just products i think ill find myself reaching for or just products i want to try and use more of or just the colour suit the season more.

What's In My Make-Up Bag | Autumn Edit

Face Products:
I've included two primers; Sheer Cover Base Perfector and Kiko Skin Tone Corrector Primer in Violet - I'll mostly be using the Sheer Cover Base Perfector but as the season starts to get colder my skin sometimes gets a little dull looking and that's where the Kiko Skin Tone Corrector Primer will come in. I've kept my usual Benefit Hello Flawess Custom Cover Up Powder in Gee, I'm Swell Ivory* and my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory because I'm really happy with these products and I'm quite loyal when it comes to concealer and powder and usually stick to them until they're finished. The foundation I'm planning to use for this season is Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation in 1.0, as I've not used it all that much since i bought it and my skin isn't too bad at the moment so I'm really liking how this is going. As the season, goes on and the days get much colder my skin will start to get dry so i will probably switch foundation later in the season.

Eye Products:
I have quite a lot of eye products in my make up bag so i have plenty of options to reach for in the morning; i have my staple eyeshadow palettes such as Urban Decay Naked, Naked 2 and Naked Basics which are staples for me all year around but also i have MUA Undressed Palette which i use mostly for work. I also have products such as Collection Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Vintage Blush and Calvin Klein Tempting Glimmer Cream Shadows in Sheer Nectar and Vintage Metal which are great products to use if you're running late or just wanting something really quick and easy. The rest of the eye products are no stranger to my make-up bag such as; HD Brows 'Foxy' Kit, MUA Clear Mascara, UDPP, Sephora 12hr Contour Eye Pencil in Tiramisu, Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kajal Kohl in Nude, Essence I Love Punk Jumbo Eyeliner Pen and Benefit They're Real Mascara - these are products that work well for me and are staples pretty much all year round.

Cheek Products:
These are the products I'm most likely to switch up; I have included two products i bought quite recently and I'm trying them out which out George Blush in Rosy and George Bronzing Duo, my faithful Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer has remained in their too along with YSL Touche Eclat as i love them both a lot and they're products that will work well throughout this season. I don't have too many cheek products in there because as i mentioned these are the ones I'm most likely to change up.

Lip Products:
I've included quite a few lip products in my make up bag but i always end up digging back into my collection because i choose lip products depending on my mood but I've included some very Autumnal shades such as Mac Lipstick in Rebel and Kiko Ultra Stylo Gloss Lipstick in 814 which is a more sheer and wearable version of Rebel, I've included Essence Gel Tint in Pink Exposed in the hope I'll encourage myself to wear it more, my all time favourite Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple and my newest favourite Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107. If I'm not feeling like such a bold colour I've also added Elf Mineral Lipstick in Runway Pink and Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup so i also have a more wearable day to day lip colour, especially for the likes of work.

As i mentioned earlier i do often switch up my products or don't stick to whats in my make-up bag but these are products that I'm either trying out, are staple products in my routine or are just products I'm trying to encourage myself to use more but for now these are the products in my make-up bag!

What products will be in your make-up bag this autumn?

  1. I'll definitely be using my UD naked two a lot over A/W. I have a few of the collection shadow pencils too. I'll be hanging on to my Bourjois chocolate bronzer though, I can't get enough of it x

  2. I love autumn the most out of all of the seasons, especially autumn make up! I think I need to try some George make up, I've had it recommended to me this week before this so I feel that this is a hint!
