Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory

A little while ago i reviewed the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and despite it's immense hype, i just wasn't impressed by it. So i took to twitter and asked for some recommendations of a good concealer, as well as dozens of recommendations for the Collection one a lot of people also suggested Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer so i decided to give it a try. I had high hopes for this concealer because i was really impressed by their Wake Me Up Foundation and so far it hasn't disappointed.

This is a great concealer; i have it in the shade 'Ivory' and its a great match for my skin. The concealer is not heavy to wear but it has really good coverage and I find that this covers my under eyes really well, its really easy to blend into the skin and as well as covering my dark circles it instantly makes me look more awake.

As it's a 'wake me up' type product i was a bit iffy about trying it on my blemishes as the last thing i wanted was for it to highlight where them but it does say on the packaging that its for blemishes too so i thought id give it a try. I was quite surprised to see that it does cover  and hide my blemishes but it doesn't highlight them like you'd expect them too which is a massive plus - i don't use it on my blemishes all the time but its good to know that it can be used for that if needed.

I've noticed that this concealer is pretty long lasting too; I've worn it for work and it's still been in place hours later when i finished my shift (work has become a great way to test out the lasting power of products) I do set my concealer in place with a face powder so whether that the reason its staying in place i don't know but I'm really impressed with this concealer and it's only £5.49 too which is really affordable and bank balance friendly!

What is your favourite go to concealer? Have you tried the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer?

  6. I have Hide the Blemish concealer and Anti-Fatigue concealer from Rimmel. I don't really have any blemish problem so usually use my concealers for my dark circle and . Hide the Blemish isn't made for that purpose but the shade is very suitable for my under eyes. While Anti-Fatigue is made for dark circle thing but most of the shades available are way too dark for me.
