I'm such a sucker for hyped up products even though i put off buying them for ages, i always end up with them and Sleek's Blush in Rose Gold is no different.

Sleek blushes are a great item to have in your collection; they're really good quality yet so affordable. The packaging of these blushes are so luxurious and 'sleek' (forgive the pun)  they kind of remind me a little bit of the packaging for Nars blushes - really nice simple design yet so effect, they've nice and compact so they're great to take on the go with you if you travel a lot and its sturdy too. As for the blushes themselves they are so pigmented, easy to blend, long lasting and just really great products to wear - regardless of shade. Onto this particular shade one- 'Rose Gold' even the name is just perfect and the look of the shade in the pan is perfect, it's a gorgeous rosy pink shade with a hint of gold running through it. What's not to like?

My opinion is a little torn on this blush; i love it, its a beautiful blush, beautiful colour and the gold running through it adds a gorgeous highlight to the face but the thing that puts me off about it is that the highlight can sometimes be too much and overshadows the pinky colour of the blush - it's bittersweet. Don't take this as a negative review by any means, i just think this blush isn't what i was expecting but i definitely think this blush will be gorgeous to wear in summer with the 'gold' highlight that runs though it as it will give such a beautiful summery glow but for autumn time it feels a little out of place, at least to me it does.

The Sleek blushes are fantastic products, they're so affordable at £4.49 yet the quality of them resembles a more expensive product. If 'Rose Gold' isn't your kind of shade id definitely recommend checking out their blush range anyways as they are brilliant products.

Have you tried any of the Sleek Blushes?

  4. Whats weird is that I've had this for AGES and decided to use it for the first time this morning. I really liked it, it gave me my 'autumnal glow'. A little more orangey (like leaves) than a bright summery pink. Xx
