Ive been eyeing up buying more Real Techniques Brushes for ages but always put it off; i recently discovered a US website called My Pretty Face Place which sells them along with NYX, EOS and ELF at a discounted price so i decided to order two brushes and see what they were like, as i was a little sceptical about them considering how cheap they were, as it was shipped from the US delivery did take a little longer but i received them about 2 weeks after id made the order which is pretty good as i think it's estimated at 3 weeks. So far I'm pretty impressed with this website and I'm happy with the two brushes i ordered - i think they've gone even cheaper since i ordered them.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (£5.57)
I was really curious to try this after everyone suddenly started to prefer this over the Buffing Brush, and as a big fan of the buffing brush i was intrigued to see if it really was better and as good as people say. I'm really sad to say that I'm completely agree and as much as i love my buffing brush this has took its place in applying my foundation.

This brush is specifically design for the application for cream or liquid foundations and their short and dense bristles make it perfect for that as it helps to pick up more foundation and leave you with more coverage. This brush is super soft and feel amazing to use against the skin, the broad shape of the brush also really helps to blend in the product really well and allow for a smooth application. Ive really been enjoying using this brush, every time I've used this brush to apply my foundation I've been really happy with the results its given, I'm so impressed with it.

Real Techniques Shading Brush (£3.70)

I really enjoying applying eyeshadow and I'm always on the lookout for brushes that will improve the make up even more, I've had my eye on the RT Starter Kit but haven't quite taken the plunge so i thought id try this brush first before i do and see how i get on with it first.

This brush is incredibly soft and feel so nice when using it on the eye; it picks up product really well and applies it nicely too. This brush is not only great for packing on the colour (its designated use) but I've found it works for blending too - it's quite a versatile brush in the respect, I've also read reviews that people use this for concealer too, I've not tried that but i may give it a go and get back to you on that! The size of this brush also makes it quite a handy tool to have in your collection as you can use it for reaching into the inner and outer corners as well as under the eye as its quite a small compact brush.

Real Techniques brushes wash really well and these are not exception, they clean easy and don't shed or lose their shape. I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with my purchases especially considering their prices, i will definitely be ordering some more and i think its about time i got my hands on their starter set!
