Enrapture Encode Totem Styler

Enrapture Encode Totem Styler

I love curly hair and I'm forever buying new hair tools that can give me amazing curly hair quickly and easily. Ive been eyeing up most of Enrapture's hair tools and when saw a fellow #bblogger tweet that they'd bought their Encode Totem Styler for £17.99 from Home Bargains, i knew i just had to get my hands on one. When i first went online they were sold out and i almost cried but i was determined and kept checking back and a few days later they were back and one was on its was to me!

The reason why this is such a popular hair tool is because its so versatile and you can personalise it to suit your hair and preference really easily. It has a little totem section that controls the heat and its split into three sections (as is the wand part) and you can control the temperature of each section to determine how you want the curl to be. You can also curl the hair in two ways; you can use it the classic way and use the clamp and curl it that way or the way i prefer to use it is just as a curling wand and wrapping the hair round it the same way you would a conical wand, i personal just prefer this way as its what I'm used to but either technique works.

If its possible to be in a love with a hair tool; then i am smitten. It curls my hair so easily and so quickly; it doesn't take long to heat up, i have quite thick hair and i can have my entire hair curled in less than 20 minutes which i love.

I used to save curling my hair for special occasions or days when i had more time to get ready but with this tool i can curl my hair whenever i feel like it because its just so easy to do. I love the versatility of it and how you can control the temperature - i think its such a clever idea because not only can you cater the temperature to your own hair depending on its thickness but the control in temperature means you can determine how loose or tight your curl will be I honestly can not express how much i love this hair curler!

I thought it would be a little more helpful to show you how the different temperatures can give you different type of curls so i hope you find these photos helpful.

Having all the temperatures on 1-1-1 means it'll give you a more loose curl; i was a bit worried about trying this temperature on my hair because as i mentioned earlier i have quite thick hair and i honestly didn't think it would hold in my hair all that way but it really did and i loved how it looked.

I tend to stick around the 2-2-2's when i curl my hair because i like my curls to be in the middle - not too tight but not too loose either. I also like to alter the direction i curl my hair to give it a more natural look.

If you prefer tighter curls, then 3-3-3 is the hottest temperature, i don't mine look all the tight in the above photos but i can assure you they were and i did only curl below my ear.

Another amazing thing about this curler is that you can alter the numbers into all type of different combinations so you can mix it up - my personal favourite combination and the one i tend to use the most is 1-2-2, so the curl is quite loose and natural but it goes a little tighter at the bottom just so it holds in much better.

I would honestly recommend this hot tool to anyone considering buying it - i would even pay the full retail price for this; i think its normally about £59.99 but i personally think its worth every penny. It's so quick and easy to use and i just love how it makes my hair look!

Whats your favourite hair tool for curling your hair?

  4. Great post, lovely! Love all the pics. I was lucky to pick one up from Home Bargains too, but my mum's nabbed it for 'Christmas', so I've got to wait for it. But I can't wait to try it. My hair is a pain in the arse the curl, so these might be my saviour :)
