Happy Easter Everyone! Hope you are all having a lovely day and consuming lots of chocolate and goodies!

Booking the Taxi/ Getting Euros
This might seem a bit random but at the beginning of the month we did the last few things for Rome, like booking our taxi to the airport and changing out money into Euros.
Memorial for James
I mentioned  a while ago about my friends that passed towards the end of last year, his family and really close friends organised a get together at the start of this month just to get everyone together again and it was really nice.
Day out with Cara
I had a lovely day out and a catch up with Cara, it had been a while since we went out last so it was lovely to go out for lunch and just chatting each others ears off!
Winning 2 Giveaways
I was fortunate to win two giveaways this month the first one by Clare, where i won some lovely make up goodies and the second was by Louise, she gave a way a large number of advertising packages for her on blog. A massive thank you to you both!
Binding & Handing in Dissertation
It was thanks to Cara that i manage to get this binded as she took me to Staples to get it done! It was such a relief to have it all finished and to hand it in. It was such a hard work and to finally be rid of it was an epic feeling.
Sabrina The Teenage Witch
Yes i am almost 22 - I've been rewatching Sabrina from the beginning, it makes me feel insanely nostalgic as it was one of my all time favourite shows when i was younger and I've been loving watching it.
Benefit 'Fake Up' Event
I've done a full post here about this event - i was fortunate enough to be invited along to the Benefit Fake Up Launch in Liverpool, it was my first ever blogger event and it was really exciting and really nice to meet some fellow bloggers and the benefit team too!

Someone's Favourite
I was included in Kirsty's march favourites - it was really nice of her and it really made my day that someone enjoys my blog so much that they included it in there monthly favourites.

Olly Murs
I went watching Olly Murs at Liverpool Echo Arena on the 27th, it was a brilliant night and he was incredible live! I did a full post here.

I went to the pub with a couple of friends i hadn't seen in a while and it was such a laugh and really nice to catch up over a couple of drinks.

Lent Ending
Now I'm not religious but i always like to challenge myself at Lent and see if i can give up something and last. This time around i gave up both crisp and chocolate - i am so proud of myself for actually doing it, usually i crack within the first few weeks but i went the whole way and im so proud! However, it's such a relief for it to finally be over!

What little things have made you smile this month?

89. Review | MUA Palette in Glamour Nights

Yes, it is another MUA palette review - i hope you aren't too bored of them yet because i still have another two to go! I'm having a lot of fun testing these palettes out, I've been dedicating a week to each palette or longer if needed so i can get a good wear out it and then i can report back to you my thoughts and opinions! It's been a great way to make sure I'm using my palettes, so I'm considering continuing this rotation system as i have developed quite a palette collection.

Glamour Nights is a contrast of shades to the Glamour Days i reviewed here, these are slightly darker shades - i guess they would be more suited for 'night' time use (depending on how bold you like your eye make up) although there are shades in there that you can make wearable for the daytime. This is a really gorgeous palette and the is variety of dark and bright shades - the burgandy red shade on the bottom row is just gorgeous!

I say this every time but these palette are fantastic value for money - they're so cheap and the quality of the eyeshadows are comparable to some high end brands. They have fantastic pigmentation and the staying power is really decent, not only that but they apply and blend together really nicely. I put the staying power of this particular palette to the test the other day, i applied my eye make up at about half 10 in the morning - I used MUA Professional Eye Primer and the two ends shades on the right side of the palette, the light one all over the lid and the dark brown shade in the crease and it was still in place 11pm that night with very minimal creasing. Maybe it was down the the primer but regardless of that, if you're out and about all day or you work really long days and you need eye make that's going to last these palettes are perfect for that.

I can not recommend these palettes enough - even if the 'Glamour Nights' one is for you, there are so many different ones available and they are constantly producing more that there is something for everyone.

These palettes retail for £4 and are available online or in Superdrug
What's you're favourite MUA Palette?

88. Haul | Topshop Make Up

I mentioned in yesterdays post that i had some vouchers for Topshop so whilst i was in Liverpool i picked up some Topshop make-up, so i thought id show you what i got!

Nail Polish in Valley £5.00
I wasn't intending on getting this one - but i had some change left over from the vouchers and they couldn't give change out, so because the nail polishes are currently on offer (2 for £8) i decided to pick another one up to make it easier for the cashier and i grabbed this one. Its a gorgeous mint green colour with glitter - glitter polishes do annoy me but this is a beautiful shade and i think it'll be really nice for spring.

Nail Polish in Flamingo Coral £5.00
I had this on my wishlist i posted the other week, its such a gorgeous colours and one that i think i will get a lot of wear out of for Spring. Its so pretty.

Lipstick in Brighton Pink £8.00
I was recommended this lipstick, at first i was tempted by Tease but i have a lot of shades similar to it so in the end i choose this one because its such a bright pink and a really pretty shade! One that i think ill wear a lot over the summery months (if we ever get them)

Blush in Head Over Heels £6.00
None of the blushes i own are anything like this shade it's a really nice peachy pink/coral colour. Again, something i think will be perfect for spring. I've tried the blushes before from Topshop and i really like them!

Eye Crayon in Rust £6.50
This was also on my wishlist, i don't quite know why i wanted it so much but i was just really drawn to it. I went for the shade rust which is a coppery golden colour and i imagine this would nice to wear alone or to create a smokey eye with.

Magic Liner in Engraved £6.50
I didnt know what else to get with the remaining money i had on the vouchers so i just picked this up because i use felt liners a lot so i know it won't get wasted, also i swatched the tester on the back of my hand and i really liked how thin the nib was and how pigmented it was so I'm super excited to try this out!

I also really wanted the Kohl Eyeliner in Sable but they didn't have that shade :(

 photo DSCF2220_zps22a9d81c.jpg

I was going to pick up a highlighter from Topshop after being recommended it but i decided to pick up the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter as it was on offer for £2 (RRP £3) in Superdrug and its really pretty. It also meant i had more to spend in Topshop.

and that's all the make-up bits i picked up!
I'm super excited to try everything out and i will most likely do reviews on everything once I've tested them out for a bit!
What items have you picked up lately?

87. Liverpool Echo Arena | Olly Murs

Hello all - how are we all?
Yesterday, myself and my sister went to Liverpool as we had tickets to go see Olly Murs at the Echo Arena - we decided to book a hotel room so we wouldn't have to rush for the bus or train home because its such hassle and its always jam packed with people and i personally just couldn't be bothered with that! We stayed at Hotel Campanile which was literally around the corner from the arena - it wasn't anything fancy, it was a basic hotel room but it was decent for just the one night. The beds were insanely comfortable, however thanks to the noisy neighbours i didn't get a great deal of sleep.

Whilst in Liverpool, we paid a visit to Primark so we could pick up some last minute bits for when we go Italy next week - I'm not going to show you those because i literally only picked up some underwear, shoes and a new make-up bag so its nothing too exciting it's also the cheapest Primark visit I've ever made - go me!

I also had some vouchers for Topshop; i personally don't like the clothes from Topshop (Oh, the controversy) don't get me wrong some are nice but i just think they're a little overpriced and i personally just don't think they're worth it so i decided to pick up some make up with my vouchers - i will be posting a haul in the next couple of days!

Firstly, some of the photos aren't the greatest quality because i took my little digital camera rather than the one i usually use for blogging, also, half way through i realised i didn't have the flash on so they improved after i realised that. Unfortunately, my batteries ran out after halfway so i missed out on photos of the rest of the show!

However, it was a absolutely fantastic night! Olly Murs was incredible live - he was so bubbly and really cheeky and exactly like he comes across on the tv! He's even more gorgeous in person and was constantly wiggling his bum (no complaints here) and dancing around - he was just full of so much energy on the stage, it was incredible to watch and I'm so glad we decided to get tickets. Id definitely recommend going to see him live because i thought he was brilliant - I'm a massive fan of Olly Murs and after the show last night, i just love him even more and i definitely hope to see him again next time he tours!

Have you been to the Right Place Right Time Tour?

86. Monthly Favourites | March

 photo DSCF2147_zpsb9307be3.jpg

It's normally around this time where i tell you how shocking it is that were nearing the end of March and whilst i do agree its come round quickly I'm stupidly excited for the beginning of April that i don't mind all that much that's its ending! I actually don't have as many favourites this month compared to usual but there have been a couple of products that I've really loved using. Any of the items that I've already reviewed on my blog, their names will be linked to the post - so feel free to check those out if you'd like a more in depth review on the product.

Etude House Drawing Brow Pen in Black-Brown
This doesn't have the most amazing pigmentation but its buildable which although that would normally be considered a negative point, I'm not the most confident when it comes to defining my brows so this means ill avoid over doing it because the colours needs to be built up.

Barry M Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint in Pomegranate
I'm already a fan of Barry M Nail paints as they are super cheap and have a lovely array of shades. The latest addition the family is the Hi Shine Gelly Paints; i really like these they are super glossy on the nails and apply nicely. This is a gorgeous colour; id says its I'm between a pink and a red. It isn't exactly chip proof but I'm beginning to accept that all nail polishes are going to chip on my nails with top coat or without, so regardless of that I'm really liking this!

Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Creme Cup
I've been wearing this a lot lately, its been in my favourites before and its a firm favourite in my collection - its a gorgeous nude pink shade and i love wearing this during the day. It has good pigmentation and lasting power and the lovely vanilla-ery scent that Mac lipsticks have.

Mac Paint Pot in Painterly
I was really lucky to win this quite recently and i just love it. Painterly is the perfect nude colour so it provides a really nice nude base for your eyes, it works great under eyeshadows but also alone if you don't fancy wearing too much on the eye. It applies nicely, blends easily and has great lasting power. I

Fearne Cotton Mascara
I've really been loving using this lately; its not really volumising and it only adds a little length bu it gives a nice natural oomph to the lashes. Its great for those days you don't really want to add much to the lashes but you don't want to go without make up then this is perfect for that.

Purity Organic Conditioning Cleansing Lotion*
This has been my go to make up remover this month, its really nice - it's so gentle on the eyes and removes all the make up quite effortlessly. Lately all the make-up removers I've tried have made my eyes all stingy and watery and this didn't do that so it's a winner in my book.

What products have you been loving this month?

85. Empties

 photo empties_zps54aca18e.jpg

It's time for another empties post today - i do these every two months and it literally doesn't seem 5 minutes since i last posted. Every time i do on of these posts it impresses me how many empty products i end up with.

Morrisons Savers Baby WipesI think these are featured in pretty much every empties post i do - i use these mostly for removing the rest of my face make-up and they work a treat. They're nice and gentle on the skin and remove everything easily - the best part they're ridiculously cheap too!

Wilko Pivot Handle Twin Blade Disposable Razors
I picked these up because i was in a hurry and really needed some new razors. Thankfully i didn't spend much on them because these razors are the definition of evil. I pretty much shredded my legs when i used one of these which wasn't too fun, after that i just used them in between shaving for my underarms.
Would I Repurchase: NO.
Rating: 1/5

Wilkinson Sword Extra 2 Beauty Razors
These were much better - still not as good as my preferred razor but they didn't cut my legs to shred like the last ones.
Would I Repurchase: Maybe.
Rating: 2/5

Beauty Iseree Cotton Pads
I got these from Lidl, i wasn't really expecting too much from them but considering these are like 56p - they're pretty good, they last for ages and they're gentle on the eyes too.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 4/5

Spearmint Colgate Wisps
I bought loads of these when Home Bargains were selling them for something like 50p, i thought they'd be handy to carry with you if you needed to freshen up after eating out or just generally wanted to freshen up. They're pretty handy to have and they do freshen up your breath.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 3/5

Andrex Washlets
I wasn't sure whether to include these or not because i don't know it seemed a little strange - anyways i really like using these especially during my 'lady time' they help keep you feeling really clean and fresh.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 4/5

Neal & Wolf Glow Super Shine Spray
I loved using this - at first i didn't really see it make my hair any different, i didn't see the added shine to it but the more i was using it the more i started to notice that it really does add a shine to your hair and not one that makes your hair look greasy either - it actually had a nice scent to it as well!
Would I Repurchase: I want too, but £9.50 is a little steep
Rating: 3.5/5

Good Things Fresh Start Creamy Cleanser
I really enjoyed using this and I'm actually sad to see its finished - it smells amazing and fruity! It was nice to use on the skin, very creamy and left the skin feeling really refreshed and cleansing. Its all really good and natural ingredients too.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 4/5

Beauty Formulas Feminine Deodrant
This was another product that i wasn't so sure about including on here but this is another product that's good to use when you're on your 'lady time' as it helps keeps you feeling really fresh.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 3/5

Natural High Night Cream
This has such an nice scent to it but even after months of using it, i still can't quite put my finger on what it smells like but its really nice. This is the first night cream I've ever used as i used to just stick with one and use that both morning and night but I've really liked using a night cream that's much thicker and keeps my skin hydrated whilst i sleep.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 4/5

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
My sister gave me this as she didn't enjoy using it on her skin but i actually did. Its starts as a powder which then lathers up under the water and then works as an exfoliator on the face. It was really gentle on the skin and left the skin really nice and cleansed and I'm actually gutted that it's ran out.
Would I Repurchase: I really want too, but its so pricey!
Rating: 4/5

Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Nail Polish in London Cloud
This isn't technically empty but its quite old so its gone all icky and gloopy and just isn't usable anymore. I used this quite a lot to do french manicures and also when i did nail art so it has had a fair bit of use! It was nice and easy to apply and like most polishes needed about two coats.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 3/5

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel
This is the nicest shower gel i have ever used, it smells incredible and i almost cried when i finished it. Its so creamy and really made the skin feel clean and the lovely soap and glory smell lingers on the skin too! Its a bit expensive for the big one but it lasts absolutely ages so its definitely worth the money.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 5/5

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter
Again, this is amazing. I paired it with the Clean on Me shower gel and it was literally a dream team. It smells amazing and leaves the skin really hydrated and moisturised and super soft. I love it so much and although it is a bit pricey for the big tub it definitely lasts ages.
Would I Repurchase: Yes
Rating: 5/5

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Sample Sachet
I got this sample in a magazine and it was alright to use. It didn't really blow me away nor was it anything amazing. Its a decent hair oil but I'll stick to my V05 one.

Would I Purchase: No
Rating: 2.5/5

Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Shampoo & Conditioner
I liked using these - i wouldn't say they much of a difference on the ends of my hair but it was a nice shampoo and conditioner, cleaned the hair well and it had a nice scent too.
Would I Repurchase: Maybe
Rating: 3/5

84. Review | Purity Skincare: Facial Wash and Conditioning Cleansing Lotion

Purity are a skincare brand who believe that less is more in beauty. Their products are organic, fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin, not tested on animals and is suitable for Vegetarians. They have no parabens or any of the nasty stuff that some products contain.

"Purity Organic Skincare is a British brand, conceived and created to bring intelligent, sustainable and organic beauty to each and every one of us. Purity Organic Skincare is EcoCert certified, with 98% of the ingredients of natural origin and an average of 82% of the ingredients processed from organic farming."
I was very kindly sent their Facial Wash and Conditioning Cleansing Lotion for review - I've been using this for a couple of weeks now so i feel I've used it enough to be able to give you a good review of them.

Purity Facial wash*
This has a gel like consistency, its quite runny and the yellow-y colour of it doesn't really look all that appealing and despite being fragrance free the smell of this is not pleasant - it is a very natural smell so i wouldn't be worrying that 'fragrance free' is a false claim - but the natural smell really isn't that nice, thankfully it doesn't last long!

Regardless of those few negative points, I'm really liking using this facial wash - i massage it into the skin and it lathers up really nicely without feeling too much  on the face and it's really gentle on the skin too. After rinsing it off, my skin feels cleansed, refreshed and really baby soft. I only use a pea-size amount of this and its enough for my entire face so this will last you for a good while.

The Facial Wash retails for £4.99 and can be bought here.

Conditioning Cleansing Lotion*
This product is my favourite one out of the two - It's just amazing. It removes all my make-up so effortlessly without leaving any remnants of mascara or eyeliner that can often been really stubborn to remove. Its really gentle on the eyes too, I've used many eye make up removers that have made my eyes water and sting and this just doesn't do that. It does have a slight scent to it but its fairly pleasant and its doesn't linger on the skin either. After use, it leaves the skin feel really soft and smooth and I'm really loving this product right now.

The Conditioning Cleansing Lotion retails for £4.99 and can be bought here.

I quite like the packaging of both of these items its fairly simple and its not over done which really goes with the brand and the ethos that they have. At first, i was completely confused on how to get the product out of it but then i figured out how to work the mechanism that dispenses the product. Now that i know how to use it, i like it - it keeps the product in if you might accidentally knock it over so none of it will be wasted but its also different to other skin products which usually come with a traditional screw tops.

Overall, I'm really happy with these products and i could see myself repurchasing them again in the future especially the Conditioning Cleansing Lotion. If you're interested in reading more about the brand or seeing other products they sell then check out their website.
Have you tried any products from Purity?

83. Tag | I Love Spring

 photo tumblr_mk4mafsbTr1qfeqalo1_500_zpsd77ee305.jpg
taken from tumblr.com

It seems very ironic doing a spring related post when the weather we've had lately is resembling winter. Today should actually mark the end of my spending ban but lets face it i failed that a long time ago - i have so much admiration for anyone who has managed to complete it without breaking it at all - i didn't last long at all, it was so much harder than i thought it would be and i guess I'm more of a spendaholic then i realised.

Todays posts is going to be a 'I Love Spring' tag, that Missglamorazzi created!

1. Favorite spring nail polish?
I'd probably have to say Barry M Mint - it's such a beautiful shade and its been my go to spring/summer shade for the past couple of years!

2. What is your must-have lip color this spring?
My lip colour changes all the time depending on what mood I'm in but I'm thinking it's going to be either Mac Chatterbox or Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple!

3. Show us your favorite spring dress!
I don't actually have it yet, i ordered it off H&M (their delivery is ridiculous - they take forever) but if it fits nicely - i think it could be this one - i know its not really colourful but its so nice and i think it'd be lovely when it starts to get a bit warmed with sandals.

4. What's your favorite flower?

Its not very imaginative but i love roses, i think they're beautiful flowers.

5. Favorite spring scarf/accessory?
I'm not too sure for this one - hmm, a simple necklace maybe?

6. What spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? (Makeup, fashion or both!)
I'm actually looking forward to using more coral and pink toned make up as they're really beautiful spring colours. I love the nautical trend in terms of fashion and floral prints.

7. Favorite spring candle?

I don't have a favourite spring candle as i only tend to burn them throughout the winter months but something fruity smelling.

8. Favorite body spray/perfume for spring?
Soap & Glory Glam a Lot or Mist You Madly

9. What is spring like where you live?
At the moment, its miserable and looking more like winter then spring.

10. What's your favorite thing about spring?
I love that's its not freezing anymore but its not stupidly hot - its just the perfect in between weather and i love the all flowers are starting to bloom, its so pretty.

11. Are you a spring cleaner?
Not really :/

12. Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation?
Well, I'm going to watch Olly Murs on Wednesday and next week I'm off to Italy :D

I tag anyone who wants to do this :)
Leave me links below as id love to read your answers if you decide to do this tag as well!

82. Share the Love | Zoella

 photo zoella_zps962a0752.jpg

Hello all! How is everyone, having a nice weekend i hope? I woke up insanely late this morning so I've thrown myself off a little and no doubt messed up sleeping pattern. Ive had a nice laid back day today - catching up on a couple of things I've been meaning to get done for a while, now I'm chilling in front of the tv, wrapped in blankets and planning to spend the evening catching up on blogs and hopefully drafting a couple of posts for this week!

So for today's 'share the love' post; i wasn't actually sure on which blog to choose as I've been loving so many, so i decided to share an old favourite of mine and no doubt one you've already heard of - Zoella!

I admire this girl so much - i just think she's incredible. Her blog is fantastic; i literally love everything about it: her photos, her content, her layout and her writing style - if i could have anyone's blog style it would be hers. She one of the most inspiring youtubers/bloggers that I've ever come across she's openly spoken about her struggles with anxiety and i admire her new outlook on life and how she's not letting it over rule her life.

Zoe also does videos which are some of my all time favourite ones to watch. She has such a nice presence on screen; she's funny, chatty and has amazing style - i literally want everything she talks about. I also love the bloopers she includes at the end of the video. Every video i watch; whether it be a beauty one or a vlog from her other channel makes me like her more and more and just makes me want to be her friend.

If you don't already follow her - id highly recommend that you check out her blog or her youtube and i guarantee you will not be disappointed!

What bloggers and youtubers have you been loving lately?
Any Recommendations?

81. 101 Things in 1,001 Days | Update #3

 photo tumblr_mk2p2wsvEJ1s9731zo1_500_zpsc52c5f63.png
Taken from tumblr.com

It's been ages since i last did an update on my 101 things in 1,001 days challenge - I think it was back in November. I try and do an update for every 10 things i cross off my list and for some reason it has taken me absolutely ages to get through another 10 but I've finally done it. I have a lot of exciting things coming up in the next few weeks that i can also cross off my list, which is super exciting so hopefully my next update won't take as long to come around.

Anyways, onto the 10 completed 'things'...

21. Make a Butterbeer Latte (December 2012)
Being a big Harry Potter fan I've been wanting to try a Butterbeer for ages, unfortunately a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon so i found a recipe to create my own Butterbeer Latte and decided to give it a go - I was going to do a post on how to make one but it was vile and i really wouldn't want to put you through it. Hopefully the real Butterbeers are much better.

22. Ombre my Hair (November 2012)
This one is no surprise, as i did it ages ago and i did a post all about ombre-ing my hair as well. I decided to do this on a bit of a whim, i love the ombre trend but didn't think id be able to pull it off but figured id give it a go anyways and i loved it, i still do - I've kept my ombre since i first did it and at the moment i have no intention of getting rid of it.

23. Wear high heels more on nights out (1st Dec 2012/5th Jan 2013)
I got into the terrible habit of just going out in my flats because heels batter my feet and i always end up with really sore feet when i wear them on nights out especially because I'm on my feet most of the night. However, heels make outfits look so much better so i thought by doing this it might encourage me to wear heels more and so far it has. I only go on nights out every so often and the last couple of times I've gone out I've worn my heels and not complained until the very end of the night.

24. Fill my wall space with pictures of my life (December 2012)
I actually regretted putting this on my list at first because i didn't really want to put anything on my walls but then i got a little bored of being surrounded by and looking at plain walls so rather then filling a whole wall space I've added photos around the notice board near my desk and its made it a little personal and i love seeing the photos of the people in my life and all the good memories. You can see the wall space here.

25. Buy a Chanel lipstick (8th Jan 2013)
If only it had been for me. I bought my friend a Chanel lipstick for her 22nd birthday and she loved it :) It was a gorgeous red colour (i can't remember the name of it) i don't know why but for me if you're going to buy a Chanel lipstick is just has to be a red shade, i also love the packaging of these lipsticks, they are definitely on my wishlist.

26. Join the Gym (6th Feb 2013)
This is something i honestly didn't think i would ever get round to doing but one night i found myself feeling really crappy and low about myself and accepted that only i can make a change, so the next day i joined the gym and so far we are still getting on swell! I enjoy going and try to challenge myself as much as i possible can - aiming to stay on different machines for so long or some sessions i have sporadic workouts where ill do 10 minutes here and there.

27. Start Journalling (Feb 2013)
I've always loved the idea of journalling but i never got round to starting it myself or getting a sketchbook to journal in and then my pen pal sent me one and i finally started one. It's not as good as some journals out there but I'm enjoying doing it, its not something i do everyday, just when i feel like it and I'm finding it very therapeutic.

28. Make a list of 30 places i want to visit (24th Feb 2013)
I'm may do an individual post on all the places i want to visit at some point in the future but I've already made my list (again, with the lists - i make too many) Technically this should have '...and visit them' on the end but realistically i don't have the money to go them all so i just decided on a list and hopefully I'll get to go them at some point.

29. Have a Harry Potter Movie Marathon (4-7th March 2013)
*holds hands up* I cheated okay, i watched them over 3-4 days whilst i was doing my dissertation but i didn't watch any other films in between watching them and i watched them in order, so it technically counts...right? When Ive finished uni and handed in all my work, i will actually do a proper marathon but for now I'm accepting this.

30. Attend a blogger event (20th March 2013)
Ahh, i already blogged about this yesterday! In all honestly, i thought that this was gonna be one of the things id never get to cross off the list so I'm happy I've finally had the opportunity to attend one :)

I like having goals written down like in this challenge because it makes me really happy when I've achieved one and i cross it off.
Are any of you doing the 101 things in 1,001 days challenge?

I was invited to attend the Benefit 'Fake Up' Event in Liverpool yesterday at Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar, it was the first event I've ever been too so i was quite nervous but really excited at the same time. I'm sure you've read lot of these posts lately, as Benefit have been touring up and down the UK holding these event to promote their newest addition to the family - Fake Up Concealer. Benefit was one of the first high end brands i tried when i first got into make up properly and it's still one of my favourite brands today!

Despite being nervous the Benefit ladies - Lisa, Rachel and Joanne, and the staff from local Benefit counters were so lovely and made everyone feel at ease and it was so nice having a natter with them all - hearing what they get up to working for Benefit makes me want work for the brand too - it all sounds so exciting and amazing and I'm rather jealous! It was also really nice to meet some fellow bloggers in person too! :)

Once we got started we learned about the Fake Up Concealer and how it works; Lisa gave us a demonstration of the product on Rachel showing us how to apply it and how it looks. It was also really great to learn how versatile this product is and Lisa showed us how you can actually use the darkest shade to contour your face too. We were also shown some of their other latest product releases like the Fine One One (which has now made it's way to the top of my very lengthy wishlist) and also the World Famous Neutrals...Eyeshadow kits.

All of us were then matched to the right shade of concealer and also to the Hello Flawless Face Powder, and then the rest of the evening was spent mingling with other bloggers and the benefit ladies (& one gent)

We were also given a lovely goody bag which not only contained the new Fake Up Concealer; we was given all three shades (Light, Medium and Deep) and the Hello Flawless powder and if that wasn't generous enough...they asked a variety of questions and the people who got them right also got a little prize, being put on the spot isn't my best forte but i had a go at one of the questions and despite only being half right they gave me the World Famous Neutrals - Sexiest Nudes Ever...Eyeshadow Kit which is just so generous and i can not wait to try out all of these goodies!

I will be doing individual and more in depth reviews of all these products once I've tested them out but I'm really excited to use them all. I'm always on the look out for a great concealer as dark circles are a nemesis of mine so I'm very curious to see if the Fake Up concealer will be the one to take 'holy grail' status.
Overall, it was a brilliant evening; great atmosphere and excellent company. A massive thank you to Benefit for inviting me to this event, I had such a lovely time!

The Fake Up Concealer is released on 30th March and will retail for £18.50
Will you be trying it?

79. Review | Etude House Drawing Brow Pen

Ever since i started to do my brows in my make up routine i have used no product other then my HD Brows kit but when i came across this on Ebay, i decided to give it a try. Etude House is a Korean brand and this is the first product I've every tried from them, this drawing pen is dual ended, a brush on one side and the other is the pen. The shade i got was brown-black, there is a really wide variety of shades available so there is something for everyone, the only difficult thing is that its difficult to be certain which one would be the best as you're unable to swatch them.

Despite it being called a brow pen its actually just an angled pencil. At first, i wasn't all that impressed with it because as you can see from the image the pigmentation is pretty week and at first it can be quite difficult to actually get the product to transfer. So i wasn't all that happy with it.

I decided to be persistent with it in the hope that i could make it work for myself and avoid wasting any money. I have to say although the pigmentation is pretty weak i do actually like using this - i always worry in case i over do my eyebrows as i like to keep them as natural looking as possible so the weak pigmentation does work in my favour as I'm able to build it up to how i like it.

The packaging is okay, it gets dirty pretty easy and the lids aren't firmly attached and can fall off a lot which can be quite annoying but I'm willing to look past all that as I'm really liking using this on my brows. I'm so glad i was persistent with this as i probably would have chucked it in the drawer and not bothered with it.

If you like a really strong brow then i wouldn't recommend this, it's not the most amazing eyebrow product but I've found away to make it work for me.
Have you tried any products from Etude House?

78. 100 Things That Make Me Happy (#1)

So I'm trying my hardest to complete as many things as i possibly can on my 101 things list, one of the items that was on my list was to listen to the entire of my Itunes and i was halfway through but then the swine deleted all my music off there and there was no way i was gonna start it again so i decided to switch it for 'Making a list of a 100 things that make me happy' I've already written most of my list down but i thought id split it into 10 separate blog posts and share it with you.

Also, this was kind of inspired by Hayley from Water Painted Dreams - she does has a blog series of things that make her happy and i absolutely love it, so technically credit should go to Hayley!

All photos are NOT mine.
