Monthly Favourites | May

Monthly Favourites post seem to come around so quick, its insane to think that its June tomorrow and we are half way through the year already, where has the time gone? I have a lot of make-up favourites this month, after my splurge in Rome and the lovely beauty swap i received last month I've been trying out a variety of new products.

Manshiu Longlasting Eyelash Extension Volume Length Curling Mascara

Manshiu Longlasting Eyelash Extension Volume Length Curling Mascara

I bought this back in January from Ebay when i had a little splurge on some Korean make-up products. I had a few mascaras to use first so I've only started to use this particular one this past month. I originally paid £3-4 which is already a really good price but it's gone even cheaper now and is only £1.99 so it's very bank balance friendly and the postage is also free, it does come from Hong Kong so it did take about 3-4 weeks to arrive but that doesn't really bother me.

Natural Collection Blush In Peach Melba

Natural Collection Blush In Peach Melba

You know when you read about a product being mentioned on a few blogs and hyped up and you just have to try it - well this is one of those products. The Natural Collection Blush in Peach Melba (£1.99) Natural Collection is a Boots own brand and is dirt cheap, so its ideal for people starting out and people on a bit of a budget - It's also perfect for make-up obsessives like myself.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette

Well aren't i late on the bandwagon with this one? I know you're probably sick of reading reviews about them but i'm so excited to have this palette in my collection that i'm going to share my thoughts with you anyway.

Topshop Lipstick in Brighton Rock

Topshop Lipstick in Brighton Rock

I picked up this Topshop lipstick in Brighton Rock (£8.00) back in March after it was recommended to me on twitter. This is the first Topshop lipstick i own so i was looking forward to trying it out, as I'm constantly seeing people talking about them on their blogs and in their youtube videos and i wanted to see for myself it they are worth it.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

I bought this from Sephora (it needs to come to the UK) whilst i was away in Rome - I'll hold my hands up and say i bought this quite impulsively, i actually went in with the intention of buying Naked Flushed Palette but my sister complained that i already had enough blush and id just bought another one, so i picked this up instead. Before i actually tried this out (i waited until id got back home) i came across a review of this foundation and it was quite negative saying that this foundation clung to the dry patches of her skin and emphasised them, so i was quite worried that id just wasted quite a bit of money on this.

Topshop Magic Liner in Engraved

Eyeliner is a staple in my make-up routine, its very rare that i don't wear it when i wear make-up as i just think its such a classic look and i love how it defines my eyes.

Benefit World Famous Neutrals in Sexiest Nudes Ever

Benefit World Famous Neutrals in Sexiest Nudes Ever

I've been testing the Benefit World Famous Neutrals: Sexiest Nudes Ever (£23.50) out over the past few weeks and i must say i really like it - Benefit are one of my favourite high end brands but they've never been a brand I've turned to for eyeshadows.

US Beauty Swap - What I Got

US Beauty Swap - What I Got

My beauty swap arrived on Thursday and i thought you might like to see what i got. This beauty swap was all organised by Louise - so a massive thank you to her for doing it all, I've wanted to do a beauty swap for so long but wasn't quite sure how to go about it and Louise made it so easy!

Rimmel Apocalips in Celestial & Apocaliptic

Rimmel Apocalips in Celestial & Apocaliptic

I'm quite late to the bandwagon with the Rimmel Apocalips (£5.99) - I'd been pining over them since their release however money was reserved for other things but as soon as i was in the airport and holiday mode was switched on i hit Boots and finally got my hands on two of them - The two shades i picked out were 'Celestial' and 'Apocaliptic'
