The 30th January saw the release of Tanya Burr's lip and nail range now I'm sure you all know who she is but for those of you that don't, she's a very well known make up artist and youtuber who creates brilliant beauty videos and has now released her own range of lipgloss and nail polish.

I was a little dubious at first, usually when ranges like this are released they end up being quite gimmicky and often not that great but these are packaged really nicely, she's kept them really simple and sleek looking. I didn't actually plan on buying any what with me being on a make up ban and i wanted to read reviews first before ordering. However, after i received the email from Feelunique that the product were online i decided to have a little peek and i was super impressed with the range of shades that i caved and bought three lipglosses.

Tanya has chosen the perfect range of shades; even though there are only 12 shades she's covered all bases and there are shades to suit everyone's taste - i literally found it so hard to narrow it down to which shades i wanted. The names of the shades are another thing that really stood out to me as they are cute and girly and it was quite obvious to me that it was Tanya who had named them because they are very her and i think that is such a nice personal touch to the range.

Onto the products themselves; personally, I'm fussy with lipglosses i hate it when they are so sticky they practically glue your lips together - it's unnecessary and uncomfortable to wear. Thankfully, these aren't like that, the formula is a little sticky but i can overlook it in this instance because its not so bad that i can't wear it, it's almost the right amount of sticky - if that makes sense.

They're quite creamy, apply really easily and the pigmentation is amazing; i expected them to be quite sheer but i was actually really surprised with the colour pay off and i think these could even rival the likes of lip lacquers in terms of their pigmentation.

The lipglosses retail for £6.99 and you can buy them from here - i love that she's made the range affordable so it allows people of all ages and budgets to be able to try them if they want to.

Afternoon Tea
This is the one shade i knew i instantly wanted; Afternoon Tea is a gorgeous pink toned nude shade. It's ideal for everyday wear and i imagine one that ill wear a lot for work as it'll give me some colour on my lips without it being too over the top or inappropriate for work. I also think this would be a great colour to pair with a really bold eye look too!

Picnic in the ParkThis shade is almost like a barbie/bubblegum pink shade (i believe this is the one Tanya wore to her launch party) and it's such a pretty shade. I can imagine this being a really nice colour to wear in the summer time, against a tan or a bronzed look.

Vampire Kiss
Of course, it wouldn't be right if i hadn't picked up at least one red shade - I'm such a sucker for red! Vampire Kiss is a gorgeous pink toned red and i love it, it's such a flattering shade and i think this will be lovely to dress up an outfit on an evening or even on days i just wanna rock a red lip!

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the Tanya's lipglosses - they don't quite beat the formula of Barry M but i do think they are really great and for me to say that about a lipgloss is a big deal, because as i mentioned earlier I'm very fussy with them! I definitely want to try some of the other lipgloss shades and also try the nail polish as they look really lovely too!

Will you be trying any products from Tanya Burr's Lips and Nails range?
