Hitting pan on a product is both a feeling of joy and dread; it's an amazing feeling to see that you've loved a product so much that you've almost used it up but it also comes with the dread that it's running out and will need replacing. This isn't all of the products I've hit pan on,  just a selection of them but i thought it might be interesting to share with you some of the products that I've loved and hit pan on.

HD Brows 'Foxy' Kit | Shade Ash Brown
I use this on daily basis to fill in my brows as this shade is ideal for me; if I'm looking to go more bold then i add a bit of 'Carbon' into it but for general day to day i used Ash Brown. In the pan i think it looks likes its going to be way too light but it actually works really well with my brows. I really like this kit and it's very versatile too as the shades can be used as eyeshadows.

Benefit Get Even Face Powder
I use this powder on a daily basis to remove any shine and also to set my foundation and concealer in place; i really like it because its very light to the point it almost looks yellow in the pan but i like that it doesn't really transfer any colour onto my skin - i have hit pan on this but i also dropped it so the hole it a little bigger than it probably should be.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer
This one is technically a cheat as it'd had already hit pan when i picked it up from a bootsale but i seriously love this bronzer and i have definitely contributed to the ever growing hole in the pan. This is a great bronzer to contour with as the colour is easy to blend into my pale skin, it's not as muddy looking as you expect its going to be as it's quite scary looking in the pan but it's so lovely when applied.

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer in Light
I have a love/hate relationship with this concealer; sometimes i feel like its too heavy and a little cakey but other times its the bees knees. The side I've hit pan on is more 'salmon' toned which works the best for under the eyes which is mainly what i use this kit for as sometimes late nights can take their toll and leave me with lovely dark circles and this salmon colour is great for counteracting that. This is one of those products that i only use when i need something a bit more heavy duty otherwise it can be a little cakey under the eyes.

Two Faced Naked Eye Palette | Shade Pillow Talk
This entire palette has been a bit of a rediscovery for me and I've been loving using it lately - Pillow Talk is my favourite shade out of the entire palette because it's so versatile; it's easy to wear alone but its also the perfect base colour to wear for a smokey eye as it suits so many different colours too. It's a great quality eyeshadow and definitely one i will miss when its all gone.

ELF Eyeshadow Quad in Silver Lining
I used to use this quad everyday for work; I'd just wear the lightest nude shade all over my lid, so id be able to wear a little bit of make up for work without it being too over the top or really noticeable. Ive not used this quad in so long but it was once a big favourite of mine and wearing all four shades together to create a really subtle smokey eye was one of my favourite eye looks.

Mac Frost Eyeshadow in Satin Taupe
I talk about this eyeshadow so much but i absolutely love it - it's the one eyeshadow i always find myself coming back to and I'm not surprised I've hit pan on it. It's such a gorgeous shade and i love wearing this alone with a lot of eyeliner and mascara for a more edgy look or it's a perfect crease colour and it goes with so many shades that it's so versatile. I love this shade so much; i have even have a back up of it and its definitely one i think everyone should have in their collection!

Estee Lauder Eyeshadow Duo | Shade Blush
This a duo I've had for so many years and before i knew much about make up or had much of a collection and i was obsessed with the shade 'Blush' and as you can see I'm literally scraping the edges on the pan. This was a really light dusty pink kind of shade but the pink wasn't over the top it was a very subtle tone of pink so it was easy to wear. I'm not quite sure if this is a shade id wear much now but back in the day i loved it.

  3. Wow this is good you've hit pan on so many products- apart from having to replace them of course! I think I've hit pan on about one or two products in my whole life, I'm dreadful! I'm good to using up liquids though! xx

  4. I completely agree about the Soap and Glory Kick Ass concealer. I only tend to use it if I am going for pretty full coverage otherwise it can just be too cakey for me, colour wise it is good but its hard work to get a good blend on it.

    1. yeah i struggle to blend it out sometimes too, it takes a bit of work!
