It's been ages since I've done a FOTD post and since i recently reviewed the Make Up Revolution Redemption Palette in Romantic Smoked* (post here) i thought I'd share with you one way to wear it. I went for the more purple tones that i wouldn't normally go for and of course, my dying camera (i seriously need a new one) hasn't picked up the colour on my eyes very well which is really frustrating as i was really happy with how this make up turned out.

Before i used any make up, i brightened up my skin with the Monu Brightening Boost* - i love this especially during this warmer weather as it really brightens up my skin and it gives me a really lovely glow. For my base; i brought out and old favourite in the form of Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in Ivory, it's a great way to brighten and wake up your skin. I then covered any blemishes and my under eye circles with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 10 and set everything in place with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent and i used that with my amazing Wilko 'Build Your Look' Powder Brush - it's insanely soft and I'm loving using it with my powder.

For my eyebrows i haven't really changed up my products as I'm still really loving the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil and Maybelline Brow Drama combination - it's so quick and it gives me nice full yet natural looking brows.

Moving onto the eyes; i primed my eyelids with the Make Up Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer* and used my Make Up Revolution Redemption Palette in Romantic Smoked* - I've included a photo and labelled what shades i used and where to show you how i achieved this look. To give the appearance of fuller lashes, i tight lined with Essence Gel Eyeliner Pencil* and used Clinique High Impact Mascara on the lashes - i got this sample size from Glamour Magazine and I'm really loving it as it separates my lashes really well, it holds a curl and it makes my lashes look lovely and long too.

Back to the base; i contoured my cheeks with the Studio 10 Visible Lift Face Definer* which is quite possibly one of the best products i have discovered this year - it's amazing at contouring and i just can't rave about this enough. I added a hint of colour into the cheeks with the Essence Blush Up Powder in Heatwave* and finish the look of with Kiko Ultra Glossy Stylo in 803.

I really like how this make up turned out and i really enjoyed wearing it as the eye look was a little different to what I'd normally wear as i always tend to stick to neutrals -nudes and browns etc... so it was nice to branch out and add a slight touch of colour.

What do you think? What make up products have you been using lately?
Natalie xx
