The Vanish PFB* is quite an unusual product and not one I'd probably pick up had i seen it in stores. However, as someone who sometimes suffers from redness and irritation after shaving i thought it'd be really interesting to try out. "PFB Vanish is a unique elegant roll on serum, formulated for ingrown hairs, razor burn and bumps resulting from shaving, waxing, tweezing, electrolysis and laser hair removal... it contains exfoliating and moisturising ingredients to maximise results" The packaging for the PFB Vanish looks exactly like ta roll on deodorant which to me is really strange but it actually makes it really easy to apply and the roll on is quite cooling and soothing on the skin.

The serum itself is really light and it blends into the skin really nicely - it doesn't have a very pleasant smell, it almost smells medicinal which i guess to some extent it kind of is as its used to soothe PFB (Pseudo Folliculitis Barbae) and it can also be using in case of mild acne - I've not tried that though so i can't comment on that.

This serum does work - i had an ingrown hair the other day after shaving - if you've ever had one you'll know they can be quite red and sore. I applied the serum over it and it worked an absolute charm and its not longer sore or red - in fact, i don't think it's even there anymore. It felt really soothing to use on the irritation after shaving and it helped to calm the redness down too.

This product is for both men and women and it retails for £23.99 for 120ml - would i pay this price? Probably not because i think £23.99 is a lot of money for a product that i wouldn't need to use a lot and its only on occasion that i suffer from redness and irritation. However, if i did suffer with it a lot then i probably would as it does work. They also have a 60ml that retails for £11.85 which is much better for someone who may not need it as much. It's a nice product and it works well at combating ingrown hairs and any irritation caused by shaving.

Is the Vanish PFB something you would be interested in trying?
