This post is a bit of a last minute one but I'm supposed to be going out (bowling - i think) and i really like how my make up turned out so i thought what that heck, I'll do a face of the day post. I also used my Enrapture Jumbo Waver on my hair - i have actually clipped it up now as it's a bit lion mane-ish but i thought it looks quite nice on the photos - what do you think?

Anyway, my make up is pretty simple with just a pop of colour. For my base; i used the Essence All in One CC Cream* and i covered my dark circles and any blemishes with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 10 and i set all that in place with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent. I'm a bit obsessed with contouring at the moment so i added a little definition to the cheeks and temples using Studio 10 Visible Lift Face Definer* and used the highlighter and blush from the Real Techniques Modern Natural Make Up Kit to add a bit of colour to the cheeks and a subtle glow.

I filled in my eyebrows with Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Precision Shaping Pencil and i set those in place with Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown. The eye make up again is very simple; i primed the eyes with Make Up Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer* and blended NYX Single Eyeshadow in Sahara all over the lid to give a slight wash of colour, i did want anything to heavy on the eyes so i tight lined with Essence Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Black* to give a more defined eye line and the look of fuller lashes too. I then used Clinique High Impact Mascara to give length to lashes - I'm really loving this mascara at the moment!

Whilst i kept the rest of my make up simple i decided to go for a pop of colour on lips. This is the Collection Work the Colour Lip Butter in Perfect Plum, it's a new addition to my make up collection and one that i definitely think I'm going to get a lot of use out of as it's so moisturising to wear and the colour is just beautiful, i think this will be a very popular shade come Autumn!

& that is my make up that I'm wearing - what do you think?
