Essence Lashes Go Wild Volume Mascara

Essence Lashes Go Wild Volume Mascara

Have you ever picked up a mascara just because the packaging really intrigued you? This is kind of what happened here with the Essence Lashes Go Wild Volume Mascara*, i really liked that the packaging was a squeezy tube - i don't really know why, because i think the design on it is a little gimmicky but the actual squeezy tube just really drew me in. It's a bit of a silly reason just judge something based on it's packaging but thankfully my curiosity paid off and this is actually a great mascara.

I really like the mascara wand - I'm not quite sure if it has a technical name or the right way to describe it but the website says it's a 'Five fold ball' wand so we'll go with that. I really like how the wand coats the lashes and separates them, it gives the appearance of much fuller lashes, this mascara is designed to give the lashes volume which it definitely does but it also adds length to the lashes too.

It's a really affordable mascara retailing at £2.50 which is so such a cheap price in comparison to other high street mascaras nowadays. For such a cheap price you would expect this to be terrible but you can achieve some amazing results with this mascara and i personally really like how it makes my lashes look.

The only negative i have about it is that I'd avoid layering up the mascara too much as it does start to give you spidery lashes so you do have to be a little careful with application - i tend to stick to one to two coats and I'm happy with the look that gives. On a whole i think this is a really great mascara; it doesn't flake off the lashes and it lasts really well/ I love the way it makes my lashes look much fuller and you really can't go wrong with the price of this.

Have you tried this mascara?
