Autumn FOTD #1 | Daytime Edition

It's been ages since I've done a Face of the day or a make up look type post, mostly because i found the way i was writing them was getting a little repetitive and boring to write and i can only imagine that was the same for you guys to read so i wanna try something different - if you have any suggestions on which format you prefer then do let me know because i do really enjoy doing fotd posts.

I thought i would show you how i like to do my make up during the Autumn season. I'm going to do two separate posts; one that's showing you how i wear my make up for nights outs and this post which is more of my everyday make up with two lip alternatives.

Studio 10 Beauty Age Defy Skin Perfector*
This is a concealer palette that has a primer, two concealers and two colour correctors. As i wasn't actually going out anywhere today i just used one of the concealers but on normal day i would use one of the colour correctors and then go back in with a concealer. They are quite creamy products so they are really easy to blend out.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in Ivory | Full Review Here
This is quite a full coverage foundation which is very different to what I'd normally wear but its blends out really nicely and gives a really lovely flawless finish whilst sister looking really natural. I applied this with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent | Full Review Here
I always use a powder to set my foundation and concealer in place. There isn't anything fancy to this powder except its really affordable and it does the job. I prefer it to be Translucent because it doesn't add any colour or coverage to the make up you've already applied.

Topshop Bronzer in Mohawk
I like to use this bronzer to add some colour into my complexion. It's a matte bronzer that has more of a brown tone to it, it's not overly pigmented but its definitely buildable and i prefer the subtly of it because i like it to look natural on.

Nars Blush in Sin | Full Review Here
I flipping love this blush - It's a beautiful purple toned pink and it's honestly the most perfect shade for autumn and it's so different to any blush that i own. It's so lovely on and it's definitely one of my favourite blushes i own.

Soap & Glory Brow Archery | Full Review Here
I prefer to use the pencil side of this; i do like the felt tip side but for some reason i find myself using the pencil side more. It's really easy to use and so natural look as well. I don't go to over the top or spend a great deal of time on my brows as they are covered by my fringe but i just like to cover in any sparse areas and make sure they look neat.

Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Brown | Full Review Here
This has pretty much ran out now but i like using this to brush over my brush and when there was product inside it was great for setting them in place. I definitely need to pick up another one.

Mac Paint Pot in Painterly | Full Review Here
This is a make up must have for me - I've been using it ever since i got it, it's just the perfect eye base as it evens out the base, it helps eyeshadow stick to the lid and therefore last longer and it helps the colour pop too. Not only that but you can also wear this alone as a simple nude base.

NYX Single Eyeshadow in Sahara
I didn't expect to use this half as much as i have - but i like wearing this on it's own all over the lid for just general day to day use, especially for work as it's a really natural beige colour with a bit of shimmer so it's nothing over the top but it just adds a little something to the eyes.

Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in Black
This is the one felt tip liner i go back to time and time again; it's really affordable and it works - it lasts, it applies black and the felt tip makes it really easy to use and control the application with. If I'm working i just simply line my eyes with it, but any other time i like to add a flick at the end.

Max Factor Masterpiece Transform Mascara*
This is their latest mascara which I'm currently in the process of testing out - so far so good. It adds length and volume, it lasts well and doesn't smudge.

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya
This is the lip colour I've been reaching for lately; for both work and for days when i just want something really subtle to finish my make up look off. It's a lovely peach/coral toned shade which is probably a little out of season but i really like it and it's so subtle whilst still adding a little something.

Collection Work the Colour Lip Butter in Perfect Plum | Full Review Here
On the days i want a little more colour on my lips I've been reaching for this - as it's a lip butter it's quite sheer and not quite as bold as a lipstick but you still get a really good colour pay off with it.

What products have you been using lately?
