Dandelion, Bella Bamba, Sugarbomb, Coralista, Rockateur, Hoola

I'm sure you've all seen this beauty floating around the blogosphere and like most i was desperate to get my hands on it and at £29.50 it is quite a bargain. It may sound like a lot of money but if you think about it; you get 1 bronzer, 5 blushes, a highlight sample and a small blush brush - normally, one box o' blush is about £23.50 so for the extra £6 you are getting 6 more products and a brush so it does work out pretty good value for money.

The packaging for this is rather beautiful and it has a tin casing so it's very sturdy. I don't think this would be ideal for travelling or for keeping it in your handbag because it's quite bulky but the design is really cute and festive looking. Although, you could easily get away with this being on your dressing table all year round as it's not an obvious christmassy design - if that makes sense.

The blushes you get are really beautiful and such good quality, they've picked a really good selection of their blush shades for their palette because not only is their one to suit everyone - their is a blush to cater to every occasion and make up look. My swatch photo does not do them justice in the slightest - unfortunately my camera truly is on deaths door and hasn't picked it up quite as well as I'd have liked it too but i hope it gives you a general idea of what the shades are like.

Dandelion:- This is a sheer ballerina pink that helps to give the complexion a really radiant boost. It does have a slight shimmer to it and the colour is buildable so if you find it's too light for you, you can build it up to how you prefer. I've also read somewhere that you can apparently use this as a face powder too - Ive not actually tried it that way but it's good to know it's a multi use product.

Bella Bamba:- This is described as being a 3d watermelon blush - it is quite a bright looking pink shade but it doesn't transfer quite so bright and it's laced with a shimmery gold that helps to give the illusion of a more defined face and sculpture features. This is actually one of my favourite Benefit blushes already - I've used my single one so much and it's apparently been discontinued so I'm really glad to have a back of it.

Sugarbomb:- This is made up of four separate shades; peach, soft plum, pink and rose - swirling them together gives a really beautiful pop of colour and a natural radiance to the cheeks.

Coralista:- This is a warm coral-pink shade; it's a really pretty colour and is one that would compliment most skintones, it's described as giving the cheeks a 'tropical flush' - i think this blush will be beautiful in the spring/summer time.

Rockateur:- This is the shade I've found myself reaching for the most. It's a rose gold shade that has a slight gold shimmer to it and it honestly gives a really lovely but subtle flush of colour to the cheeks.

Hoola:- As well as 5 blushes you also get a bronzer, i already own Hoola but I'm glad to have a back up of it because it's a really lovely bronzer. It's described as being a soft bronze, it doesn't have any shimmer in it either so it's a good bronzer to use to contour with or to give the complexion a healthy and natural looking tan.

Watt's Up Highlighter:- I love that it comes with a little sample of this - I've been wanting to try it for a while and this gives me a chance to try it without spending a fortune on it. It's a cream highlighter with a pink tone to it - it looks really beautiful one; it blends into the skin really nicely and gives a really lovely and healthy looking glow.

I genuinely love this palette a heck of a lot and their is not one thing in it that i would replace, I'm so glad i bought it. If you are thinking about it, id definitely recommend snapping one up soon before they disappear because with it being part of their Christmas range, i imagine it's limited edition and you really do not want to miss out.

What's your favourite Benefit Blush?

  2. I very rarely buy blushes (or wear it for that matter!) but these are some really pretty and versatile shades. I don't think I'll buy it now, but I'm definitely going to go on a hunt for it in the sales!
