Car Boot Sale #6

Car Boot Sale #6

I got up at the horrific time of 6:10am this morning to go to my local Car Boot Sale - i don't always go because some Sundays I'd just rather not get out of bed but today i decided to go for a little browse and see what i can find. I used to always post a little haul of what items i found and I've not done that in ages so that's exactly what I'm going to do now!
Sadly, i didn't get a tonne of stuff because i live in a relatively small town so there isn't always loads of stalls there and a good 40% of them are those silly stalls that have purpose bought things in bulk just to sell there and it's always silly items as well - I find it so annoying because to me that's not the point of a Car Boot Sale.

The most exciting item i found was these Cut Out Heeled Boots, i don't know where they are from or what brand they are. I managed to pick these up for £2 which is ridiculously cheap - the inside is a little worn but its nothing major. I don't imagine they're an expensive brand though but i really like cut out boots and i own a couple of pairs already, they're just an easy way to dress up what you're wearing whilst still keep a casual look.

You can't really go wrong with books at a Car Boot Sale - there's always so many and if I'd have took the time to read the blurb of every book there i probably would have come home with a dozen more but since i have a whopping to-read pile already i showed a little restraint. The first book i found was The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion - i don't actually know what this is about but i remember someone raving about this book either on a blog or in a youtube video so i decided to pick it up and see what it's like. From the same stall, i picked up 10 Reasons Not to Fall in Love by Linda Green, again I've not heard much about this book but the blurb sounds pretty good, it's very much a chick lit book which i personally really enjoy reading. Both of these books cost me 50p each.

I also picked up The 5:2 Diet Recipe Book, now i don't think I'm going to be doing the 5:2 Diet itself as I'm not quite sure i have the willpower for that at least not yet, but i decided to pick this up because it's full of low calorie recipes. I'm not on a mega diet or anything like that I'm just trying to be more healthy both for the sake of my weight and my health itself so i thought some of these recipes might be good to try. It was only 50p so if i don't end up trying any of the recipes I've not wasted very much.

In total, i spent a whopping £3.50! Now I'm not going to be going every week but i am going to make more of an effort to go to the Car Boot Sale more because you never know what's going to be there and I'll definitely document what i find on here too - if you're interested?

Do you like to go to Car Boot Sales? I'd love to know what was your best find?
