Car Boot Sale Haul #8

Car Boot Sale Haul #8

My weekly visits to the Car Boot Sale are something that i really look forward too. I love not knowing what i may find and getting them for a really cheap price makes it even better.

Car Boot Sale Haul #8

Buying make up at a Car Boot Sale can be quite hit and miss and i can imagine some of you sat there turning up your noses a little bit, but i am very wary of what products i pick up and i only really go for things that are brand new or are barely used and i can clean up easily.

This week there was a stall selling a lot of make up products - most of which where testers that were unused and some were still sealed too. I noticed that it was mostly Maybelline so i don't know whether she worked for them or what but it was my favourite stall by far and i made multiple trips back to it.

I picked up two of the Maybelline Colour Elixir Lip Lacquers both of which were £1 each - i got Manderine Rupture which is a bright orange shade and Petal Plush which is a light pink. I already own a Maybelline Colour Elixir Lip Lacquer and i absolutely love it so I'm thrilled to have been able to add to my collection.

I also got two Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipsticks - I've never tried these lipsticks before but i I've heard them mentioned on blogs before and I'm kind of wishing I'd picked up more than two because these were also only £1 each but i tried to be restrained. I got the shade Sugar Plum which is a lovely pinky plum shade and I've actually worn this a lot already and i also got Petal Pink which is quite a vibrant baby pink - it almost looks like the lipstick version of the Petal Plush Colour Elixir Lip Lacquer.

The last thing i picked up from the stall is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15; I've already used up a full tube of this concealer before. It's not my favourite concealer but it was only £1 and i figured it was worth picking another up for that price.

I picked up this necklace from Avon as i thought it was really pretty - i don't buy jewellery all that often or even bother to look at it when I'm at car boot sales but i thought the cluster of stars was really pretty and for £1 i just couldn't let it go. I also got the Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Duo in Healthy Glow, i definitely do not need another eyeshadow duo especially in neutral shades but i just can't seem to resist them and it hadn't been used and it was only £1.

In total i spent £7 which is amazing considering just one of the Maybelline lip products is about £7. I'm thrilled to bits with all the items I've found and i can't wait to start using them all and I'm sure you they be popping up over my blog at some point too.

Have you found any bargains lately?
