Normally, I'd be freaking out about how fast time has gone by and how are we half way through the year but my holiday is getting so much closer and I'm so ready for it that i don't care that another month has passed me by. It feels like it's been ages since i last did a monthly favourite because i just didn't get round to doing one last month.
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in Ivory*
This is a rediscovery for me; i was obsessed with this foundation last summer but when winter rolled around i put it into my drawer and forgot about it. I only started using it again because i thought I'd try and use it up and i forgot just how lovely it is. It's so light and natural that it feels like you're not really wearing any foundation, it offers a light yet buildable coverage and leaves the skin with a lovely flawless finish.
Max Factor Master Piece Colour Precision Eyeshadows*
I've mentioned these on my blog a lot already (full review here) but I've really been loving using these eyeshadows, especially the shades Beige and Coffee. They're really easy and effortless products to wear; i like to wear them alone, blended out all over the lid and it looks like I've put a lot more effort into my eye make up than i actually have. They apply really well, are easy to blend and they last ages on me.
Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzer
This is the infamous chocolate bronzer and it was another product that i loved using last summer then put it away and forgot about it for a while but since digging it back out, I've really been loving using it. I've been applying it on the cheeks and into the temples so that it adds colour into the complexion but without contouring. Despite looking really scary in the pan it looks really lovely on, it gives the skin a nice sun kissed look. It smells lovely too (not like chocolate though!)
Nivea Pure & Natural Day Cream
I bought this on a whim because I'd ran out of moisturiser and this was only £1.99 so i figured I'd give it a go and i really like it. It's so moisturising and hydrating, it leaves my skin feeling really smooth and revitalised. It's actually a anti-wrinkle cream which is a little off putting as it's not something i want to be thinking about yet but i guess it can't really hurt in the long run.
Dr Paw Paw Original Multi-Purpose Balm*
As the name suggests this is a multi purpose balm but i mostly use it as a lip balm. It's got quite a thick consistency but it's possibly one of the best lip balms I've used - it's so moisturising and hydrating and you can still feel it on the lips hours after!
I've had this for a while and its been featured in my favourites before. I find roller balls perfumes are really handy to carry with you in your handbag because they're so compact and it's always handy to have on you if you've ever left home and forgotten to apply your perfume. This particular perfume Polka; smells incredible and it really lasts, you can still smell it on your skin hours after. It honestly amazes me that it's only £2.
Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner
I still stand by everything that I've ever said about this liner; i hate the application of it because it drags and crumbles across the eyes and for the price that should not be an issue at all! However, after paying so much for it i didn't want it to go to waste so I've been trying to use it up and even though I'm not crazy about how it applies once, i really like the end results - it's so bold and it stays on the eyes for hours without budging and i find it quite easy to wing out my liner when i use this too.
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencil in Grey
This isn't the most pigmented eyeliner it's very soft but i love smudging it out under my bottom lashes because it gives the eyes a really subtle and edgy look. It's really creamy and smudges out easily and I'd highly recommend the Rimmel eyeliners they're so affordable and such good quality.
I went to see the Jersey Boys at the Liverpool Empire this month, actually i went twice and both times it was absolutely amazing - i am going to do a separate review post on it, in the next few days so i wont say too much about but it's was phenomenal.
Since the tragic last episodes of Season 11 - i won't say what in case you haven't seen it yet, i decided to start rewatching it so i could pretend it never happened. I'm sure you all know what Grey's Anatomy is about but if not a group of young doctors starting their surgical residency at Seattle grace. It's a medical drama and it has pretty much every you need in a show!
Always the Bridesmaid by Lindsey Kelk
Lindsey Kelk is one of my favourite authors - her books are very girly and filled with so much drama and emotion! This is her latest release, it kept me hooked all the way through and i really enjoyed reading it. Maddie Fraser; the girl who's always been in the background; between a crazy boss, a newly married ex and now shes in the middle of her two best friends. One is getting married and the other is getting a divorce - it follows her helping and trying be there for both friends, whilst battling with her crazy demanding boss to get a job promotion.
What have you been loving this month?
