What's In My Make Up Bag?

What's In My Make Up Bag?

I don't know about you but as a lover of make up, i love a good nosey in people's make up bag. It intrigues me to see which products they deem essential and choose to carry around with them. I change the products in my make up bag quite frequently but lately I've been reaching for the same selection so i thought I'd give you a peek into mine.

What's In My Make Up Bag?

The make up bag i use is pink with gold studded details, it was originally from Primark and I've had it for a couple of years now and I've just continued to use it because it's a really good size, it fits a good amount of products in without being too big. I tend to keep the products I'm wearing for that day with a few extra options to switch things up should i need to.

As this is mainly my everyday make up, i tend to keep everything quite natural so my foundation of choice at the moment is Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in Ivory*, I've had this for a while so i dug it out of my collection to try and use it up and i forgot just how much i loved it. It's so light and natural but it also offers coverage and a flawless finish.

I've gone back to my trusty Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzer, to add colour into my complexion but rather than contouring with it,  I've been applying it lightly to the tops of my cheeks and into my temples. I still can't get enough of Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink*, I've used this pretty much every single day since i received it back in March, it's such a gorgeous blush and i think it compliments my skin tone really well.

I've been using the Rimmel Brow This Way a lot recently to do my brows because it's a easy way to make them look groomed and it requires very little effort. My eyeshadow changes quite frequently but at the moment I've been switching between using My Mac Eyeshadow Quad, in particular the shade Patina and the Max Factor Colour Precision Eyeshadows* in Beige and Coffee. They're all very neutral shades and i tend to use them individually just to give a wash of colour over the lids.

I've been using Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner lately, I have a major love/hate relationship with it because it gives me the most amazing eyeliner and it stays on forever but it's so awful to apply. I'm trying to use it up though because I've had it for a while now and considering the price, id rather it not go to waste. Mascara wise, I've been reaching for Max Factor Waterproof HD Mascara* I wouldn't say its my favourite Max Factor mascara but it's nice and i do really like the way it makes my lashes look.

The Maybelline Colour Elixir in Mandarine Rupture has become a lip product I'm reaching for the most at the moment, orange is not a shade I'd go for normally but this is a really flattering shade and it looks so lovely in the sunny weather. As I never stick to the same lip products, I also carry Maybelline Colour Sensation Lipstick in Sugar Plum and Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya so i have extra options to switch it up, if i wanted too.

Its not a product I've been reaching for lately but i always carry my Sephora Contour Eye Pencil in Tiramisu, it's one of my all time favourite eyeliners and i like to keep it on me just in case i ever needed to dress up my eye make up a little. I also keep a few extra items in there like painkillers, hair ties, blister plasters etc... just because i always like to be prepared.

Whats in your make up bag?

  1. I have the same makeup bag, but the black version - which tends to have a powder, concealer and bushes to apply them with.

Those Max Factor eyeshadows look interesting, I didn't know they did liquid ones like that x
