It has been quite a while since i last posted a Car Boot Sale Haul; they hadn't been so great lately and i was only picking up the odd item which i couldn't justify a full post on and i didn't go the past two weeks due to being on holiday and being too tired to get up at 6am. I've really missed not going and was really glad to get back today and route out some bargains.
I picked up this weekly planner chalkboard for 50p; The rope is undone and the back has some paint on it so I'm gonna fix it up a little but i thought this would be perfect to help with blogging, to do lists and just generally organising my week and because it'll be on show at all times in my room it should help me stick to things.
The second this i picked up was the Estee Lauder Deluxe All-Over Face Compact for £4 and I wasn't going buy this at first, i actually walked away from the stall and continued browsing around the others, mostly because the woman on the stall was a bit of a ass and i didn't want to buy from her. However, it was so pretty and i couldn't stop thinking about it the rest of the way round, so i sent my sister back to see if they still had and they did. It has 3 gorgeous blushes and a translucent powder, one of the blush has a slight dent in it but other than that it looks like it' barely been used.
The Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub was £2; I've wanted to try this for a while and it's come at the perfect time because i ran out of my body scrub and have genuinely been using a minty face wash to exfoliate my legs - it does actually do a good job but now that can return to it's normal purpose.
I also got a gift set from the Body Shop for £1, this hasn't been opened and like the scrub it was a great find because I've recently used up my Soap and Glory Clean on me and the only shower gel i have left is my Lush Snow Fairy from Christmas which i don't want to use yet so now i have these four lovely fruity ones from the body shop.
Finally, my most favourite purchase of the day is this River Island bag for £5; normally, i wouldn't pay that for a bag off the car boot sale but it was love at first sight. It's my perfect kind of style for a bag, it's black and it's a great size, not to mention it's in excellent condition and looks like it's barely been used. The only downsize is that it doesn't have any long straps with it however, i have some from other handbags that can easily clip on. I'm so excited i found this bag and i already can't wait to swap my bags over.
I spent £12.50 overall, which is a little more that what I've spent in previous weeks but I'm made up with all the items I've found.
What's been your best bargain lately?
