Liz Earle skin care is a holy grail amongst beauty bloggers; I've wanted to jump on the bandwagon for a very long time but i always found reasons to put it off. My sister got me the Liz Earle Gorgeous Skin Gift Set at Christmas (I think its only available at Christmas time) and as they are travel sizes, i decided to save it and take it with me on my holiday.
In the set you get a Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser and a muslin cloth too. This is the perfect sized kit for travelling; it's small and compact and it covers most things you need in your skin care routine.
I've had a small sample tube of the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser before and i loved using it; it's has a really natural and almost herbal scent that i find quite relaxing. Paired with the muslin cloth this is a girls best friend; it removes make up really easily and every time I've used this my skin feels so clean, smooth and healthy. It's so gentle on the skin and eyes and I'm honestly considering purchasing a full size.
After cleansing the face, the next step is the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic - this is a lovely product but it does have a heavily floral scent, i actually think it's a really pleasant and calming scent but i don't know if it would be to everyone's taste. it's non drying and soothes and refreshes the skin. I pour a little of this onto a cotton pad and sweep all over my face - this isn't something I'd probably repurchase as there are other cheaper toners that i personally prefer but i have enjoyed using it for now and will continue to do so till it's used up.
To finish, i moisturise my face with the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser; this also has quite a herbal scent but i don't think it's as pleasant as the other two products but it doesn't linger for too long. It's a really lovely moisturiser and every time i use it, it leaves my skin feeling really smooth and hydrated. I'm not in a rush to repurchase this moisturiser but it is definitely something I'd consider buying in the future.
I've really been enjoying trying out these products and i can honestly say that my skin feels really soft and healthy since I've been using them. I can understand why there is such hype around Liz Earle Skin Care especially the Hot Cloth Cleanser - there are some dupes of this available for someone who is on a tighter budget that are just as good but i definitely want to invest in a full size at some point.
