I really envy people who can fill in their brows and can make them look perfectly natural; mine seem to have minds of their own and regardless of what i use they never have that 'perfect' look that everyone seems to achieve so effortlessly. On a recent visit to Superdrug; i spotted the Collection Work the Colour Eyebrow Kit on offer for £2.66 and decided to give it a go.
For £2.66 (Normally £3.99) this is such a handy little eyebrow kit; it comes with 3 powder shades, a clear mascara and a little duo brush. This is so handy and compact for travelling or for just keeping in your make up bag, it would barely take up any room and it also has a little teeny mirror in there too.
I don't know if these kits have change since there original release because on the Superdrug website it's just one kit but in the store there was Blonde and Brunette kits available - i picked up brunette, which comes with a light brown, dark brown and a black shade. I tend to go for the lighter brown for general day to day use and the darker brown for nights out or if i just want a more bolder brown.
The shades match my brows just fine, i wouldn't say it's a perfect match but they are suitable enough to wear and not make me look odd. They have a lovely smooth texture to them and they apply really easily - even with the brush that comes in the kit, it's fairly decent to use. They are quite pigmented but you can also build up the colour if you want a more bold looking brow.
I love the clear mascara that comes with the kit; usually kits like this offer a wax to set the brows which I'm personally not a fan of so i love that this has a mascara instead. It's works great at grooming the brows and setting them in place, you could quite easily use this alone if you just want to neaten up the brows.
Personally, it's not my favourite eyebrow kit I've tried but it's definitely a great budget option. It's affordable, great quality and does give decent results.
