MeMeMe have released a big range of cosmetic gift sets just in time for Christmas; there is a wide selection available so you're spoilt for choice and there is different collections to suit everyone. I was very kindly send the MeMeMe Create the Look Collection in Smoulder* (£17.50 | Available here) and it's safe to say i'm very impressed.
The set comes with a Quad Baked Eyeshadow Palette in Smoulder, the Eye Sweep Felt Tip Liner Pen, the Dark & Divine Mascara and the Eyeline Eye Pencil in Coal. Everything that you need to create a perfect smouldering eye.
The Quad Baked Eyeshadow Palette in Smoulder* comes with four gorgeous shades; copper, taupe, silver and grey. Normally, i'd have only gone for the copper and taupe shades but i decided to be more open minded and combine some of he silver and grey into the crease and outer corner and it really does make an easy smokey eye. The eyeshadows have great pigmentation, they last really well and they didn't crease either - i did wear a primer underneath though.
If you've followed my blog for a while you'll know i love my felt tip liners and i have to say the Eye Sweep Felt Tip Liner Pen* is really impressing me, it's so easy to use and it takes me no time at all to line my eyes and wing it out. It has quite a wet formula which realy helps it to glide along the eye - it's really pigmented, doesn't smudge and stays in place all day. This might just be my favourite product out of this colletion.
I've not used a black pencil eyeliner in ages but since recieving this kit, i've really been enjoying using the Eyeline Eye Pencil in Coal*. It has a really creamy formula that just glides along the eye effortlessly and it's easy to smudge out if you want a more smokey/edgy look. It's really pigmented and it actually lasts really well without smudging too much.
Last but by no means least, no eye look would be complete without a mascara. The Dark and Divine Mascara* is a volumising mascara - it is lovely but i personally feel a mascara that focusing on adding length would compliment the kit much better but regardless of that, it is a really nice mascara - it seperates and coats all the lashes really nicely without clumping, it adds volume and it lasts on the lashes really well without flaking.
I like this collection of products alot more than i thought i would; they're such good quality and paired together they create such a killer eye look, i love how it all ties together and whenever i wear it, it makes me feel really good. It retails for £17.50 which is a lot cheaper than i expected because if you total all the prices of the products individually is it much more expensive so you are actually getting a really good deal.
I genuinely think these are great gift ideas or even just treats for yourself (a little tempted to treat myself to some of the others); there's a quite a few other options of collections available and all the products you get inside are actually really good quality - see the other collections here.
