It seems quite surreal to be doing another 'What's In My Travel Make Up Bag?' as it's not been all that long since i last did one, but as you are reading this i will be enjoying a week in the sun. I really enjoyed sharing what make up I'd selected to take with me last time and you guys seemed to enjoy it too, so i thought I'd do it again.
I absolutely love my new make up bag; my pen pal sent me this blue faux leather make up bag - she told me that it made her think of me when she saw it and i thought that was such a sweet sentiment. It's so compact and doesn't take up too much room but you can fit so much make up inside.
I'm keeping my base really simple; I'm taking my Korres Ginger & Vitamins Foundation as it's really lightweight, the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer for my under eyes and blemishes and I'm taking my Estee Lauder Deluxe Face Compact as it has a face powder and 3 blushes so it gives me a choice should i feel like mixing it up. I've decided to take Smashbox Step by Step Contour Kit mainly for the highlighter but I've also got the option of bronzer and a contour if i really want to make an effort.
My Mac Paint Pot in Painterly is a daily essential for me regardless, i wear it either alone or as my base for eyeshadows as it helps to even out the lids and prolong the eyeshadows too. I've opted for two eyeshadows quads my Mac Eyeshadow Quad and the Bourjois Smokey Story Quad in Over Rose* ideally I'd only take one, but i couldn't decide between the two.
For eyeliner; I've opted for the MeMeMe Eye Sweep Felt Tip Liner* and the MeMeMe Eye Line Pencil in Coal* just so i got the option to switch it up if i fancy it. I'm taking two mascara's the Benefit Rollerlash Mascara and the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara - I've only just started using the Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara so I'm taking Benefit's Rollerlash as a back up.
For eyebrows, I've picked the Collection Work the Colour Eyebrow Kit - I've been loving using this on my eyebrows. It's such a great little kit, i just wish i could find the little clear mascara that comes with it.
I've chosen a selection of lip products because i don't want to leave myself limited so I've tried to cover all basis with my choices. I'm taking the Dr Paw Paw Original Multi Purpose Balm* as i find this really moisturising and hydrating on the lips, and it can also be used for other things if needed. I wore the Maybelline Colour Elixir in Mandarine Rapture a lot on my last holiday, so I've decided to take it again because it's such a gorgeous summery orange shaded.
If i want something a little bolder I'm taking Mac Lipstick in Plumful; it's such a gorgeous colour and it's one of my absolute favourite lipsticks. I'm also taking Zoella Kissy Missy Lipbalm as it's quite versatile so you can have a subtle pink shade or you can build up the colour for a brighter more intense shade. The final lipstick I'm taking is the Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Sweet Pink. its a gorgeous pink lipstick and this will be great if i just want something subtle on the lips - i think this will probably be the one i reach for the most but i like to be prepared and have options.
So that is the make up I'm taking on holiday with me; i feel like I've chosen pretty well, I've managed to give myself a good amount of options without overloading on products.
What products do you like to take on holiday?
