My Autumn/Winter Nail Polish Picks

 photo IMG_3269_zpshlb88cby.jpg

I feel like I've not painted my nails in ages so i decided to browse through my collection and in the process and i came across a selection of nail polish that are the most perfect and probably predictable shades that i will definitely be wearing during the autumn/winter seasons.

Max-Factor Gel Shine Lacquer in Sparkling Berry*
This is one of my absolute favourite nail polish to wear regardless of the season, it's a really gorgeous berry red shade. I really like the formula of the Gel Shine Lacquer, they apply so lovely and give the nails a really glossy and shiny finish.

Essence Colour & Go in Black Is Black
I always love to bring the black nail polish out every now and again, it always give me that gothy/edgy feel to the nails. You really can't go wrong with Essence for their nail polishes, for such a cheap price they're pretty good.

Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer in Apple
No Autumn/Winter season is complete with a classic red nail polish. I wear this throughout the year anyways but it's the perfect nail colour especially around the Christmas season. Apple is a perfect true ruby red, this is the only Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer i own but it has a lovely formula and applies really nicely.

Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla
I completely forgot that i had this nail polish and i now really want to paint my nails this colour. It's a lovely lilac toned nude and it's great if you want a more subtle colour. It is a matte nail polish, which i do like but you can easily add a clear top coat to get a nice glossy finish.

Avon Nail Wear Pro+ in Sinful Romance
This is my most recent addition to my nail polish collection; it's actually a different colour than what it looked in the catalogue but i actually really like this one anyways. It's a really lovely muted purple colour and it's not like any shade i already own. It applies really nicely and has a lovely glossy finish.

Kate Spade New York by Nails Inc in Uptown Glamour
I love this nail polish because it's just the perfect shade for over the Christmas and new year period. It's a shimmer almost metallic gold but it actually looks really nice on the nails - i find some golds can look a bit tacky but this applies and looks really nice on.

What nail polishes will you be wearing over Autumn/Winter?

  1. These are some lovely nail polishes, my favourite would be sinful romance. I tend to wear darker or cooler nail polishes in the colder months, it just seems more appropriate! lol

  5. I went nail varnish shopping last night and ended up with a Barry M speedy dry polish similar to the vanilla colour! It's so, so hard to buy nail polish in the right colour! I always feel it's a gamble!
