Since it's starting to get so much colder, there is nothing I'm enjoying more than an early night binge watching TV shows - so i thought I'd recommend some more!

Gossip Girl
If you love typical American Shows with all sorts of drama you will love Gossip Girl. Set around a privileged prep school on the upper east side, Gossip girl shares text messaged scoops and scandals causing drama and heartache. Throughout the series, Gossip Girls identity remains a complete mystery. I really enjoyed this show when it was out - it started to dip a little towards to end but it really is a brilliant show to watch. Blair's wardrobe is amazing and not to mention Chuck Bass is a totally easy on the eyes.

Pan Am
I don't feel like many will appreciate this show. It was out a few years ago and it sadly got cancelled after one season but i really enjoyed it and it was only thanks to my friend recommending it to me that i watched it. It's about the iconic American airline Pan American World Airways and it follows the pilots and stewardesses of the airline as it operated in the early 1960s at the beginning of the commercial Jet Age.

Hart of Dixie
This is a very typical small town, type of drama - similar to Gilmore Girls but this follows Zoe Hart a doctor from New York who decides to accept an offer from a strange to work in a small practise in Alabama. She soon discovers the stranger has died and has left half of his practise to her in her will. The shock of southern life and some not so hospitable towns folk, she decides to stick it out and give it ago. It's really light hearted feel good kind of show and it has some hilarious moments in there.

The Inbetweeners
The Inbetweeners is quite an inappropriate show and will not be appreciated by everyone. It follows four teenage 'nerdy' boys as they venture through high school. If you not opposed to sexual content, this show is hilarious. There is also two movies that follow after the series too and they're pretty hilarious also.

The Lying Game
I really enjoyed this show when it was on but sadly it got cancelled after season 2, leaving a lot of unanswered questions but it's such a good TV show that I'd still recommend checking it out. Emma Becker and Sutton Mercer are identical twins, separated at birth and unaware of each others existence. Emma is kind hearted foster kid and Sutton was adopted by wealthy parents living the high life.  Emma agrees to step into Sutton's life for a few days while Sutton tries searching for their birth mother. But when Sutton fails to show up at the time the girls agreed to meet again, Emma must decide whether to come clean about her identity, and put herself at risk, or continue secretly living Sutton's life. It's a very intense show, it's almost like Pretty Little Liars with the mystery and the constant questions.

Do you have any TV Show Recommendations for me?

  1. The Inbetweeners is hilarious -- I love it!
Ha ha this is going to sound so corny -- but my mom totally has me hooked on the show Bob's Burgers. The humor is really stupid but it's honestly hilarious, and I love a good laugh!

    A Northern Light

    1. Hilarious isn't it? I've never seen bob's burgers!
