A while ago, I read a blog review on the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara once that described it as a 'silent staple', one of those products that you don't need but once you have, you don't want to be without. Ever since reading that review, it's been one of those product i often thought about trying so on one of my recent Christmas Shopping trips, i took the plunge and treated myself.
It's quite bizarre using this because the brush is so tiny, but it's the perfect size for a coating the bottom lashes and i also use it in the inner corners to get those few lashes that sometimes get missed and the results are amazing. You can really work this into the lashes without worrying you're going to get the mascara underneath your eyes and the difference is honestly incredibly, it makes the lashes underneath much longer and it really opens up the eyes.
I have this in black, but i believe there is a brown option available too which i am quite tempted to get for a more natural, everyday look. It doesn't clump, it doesn't smudge, flake or transfer and just look at that packaging. It's so pretty, luxurious and compact and i love the silver floral design on it too.
I feel like 'Silent Staple' is honestly the most perfect way to describe the product - i can't remember the review i read (apologies) but they have hit the nail on the head. It is not a product you need in your collection but once you've tried it, you won't want to be without it.
They retail for £13.50, i was lucky and got mine when they had 10% off in store so my was a little bit cheaper. It is expensive for what it is, there is no denying that but i really like this product and i feel like this is a product i always want in my collection, so i would be happy to pay that price again - i just love it.
Have you tried the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara?
