For some people it's easy to put a lot of time and effort into their make up for work, i however, am not a morning person and the last thing i want to do it to spend ages applying a full face to stand in a shop all day when i can spend that extra time in bed. I do however, like to wear minimal make up so i that don't completely scare the customers away.
Simple and quick make up is key for my work make up routine, i want it to take a little time as possible but still look like I've made a little bit of effort. I've recently rediscovered my Inika Mineral Foundation in Nurture* - it's quick and easy and acts as both a foundation and a powder in one, if needed i apply concealer beforehand but at the moment my skin isn't too bad and i can get away with the coverage that the mineral powder provides.
I do however, want to add a little colour into my complexion to make it look a little more away so I've been using my Benefit Cheeky Sweet Shop Palette apply the Hoola bronzer onto my cheeks and into the temples and adding blush to the cheeks too. I switch up the blush i use a lot but I've mostly been reaching for Coralista or Dandelion - as they give a really subtle pop of colour to the cheeks.
For eyes, i applying the shade Walk of Shame from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette all over the lid, i only wear the one shade just to brighten up the eyes. Eyeliner is a must for me just because i always look tired without it (people always tell me i look tired when i don't wear it) so i either use the MeMeMe Eye Sweep Precision Eye Definer Pen* or i tight line Sephora Contour Eye Pencil in Tiramisu both of which add a little something to the eyes and make me look more awake. As for mascara, i switch between them quite a lot but lately I've been opting for Max Factor Masterpiece Max High Volume and Definition Mascara* as it gives a good amount of length to the lashes.
Once upon a time, i would have just left my eyebrows but it's become one of those things i hate not doing so i just quickly fill them in with Max Factor Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel* and set in place with the Catrice Fixing Brow Wax - this requires very little but just makes them look full and neater. As for lips, i don't bother wearing lipstick or anything like that i just grab the nearest lip balm - usually my EOS lip balm and then I'm good to go.
You can easily remove some of these products and make it even quicker but I've got this make up look and doing my hair down to about 20 minutes so it works well enough for me. It's quick and easy, makes me look alive and allows me some extra time in bed.
