March has been a pretty shitty month, if I'm completely honest. Everything has just been really stressful; from my personal life, to blogging and at times work. I've discovered a few products that I'm really liking but other than that I've not really switched it up my routine all that much.
Ebay Flat Contour Brush
Firstly, let me apologise for the fact that my brush is dirty in the photos - i completely forgot to clean it beforehand. I really like flat contour brushes because they allow for a more precise application when it comes to contouring. I own a couple of them but out of them all this one of my favourite because it's much smaller and fluffier so it's really great for blending out the harsh lines too.
Fashionista Blush in Rose Shine
I've received this blush ages ago as a thank you for doing a sponsored post but it sat unused and unopened in my drawer until recently, when i discovered it in my collection and decided to give it ago and I've been wearing it daily. It's such a gorgeous shade, it's a lovely matte soft pink shade and it just adds a really lovely pop of colour to the cheeks. It almost gives you that just been out in the wind kind of flush. It's so pretty and i love how subtle it is.
Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm*
I've raved about this already in the review i did but it's amazing. There are not enough good words i can say about this product. It removes my make up so quickly, cleanses the skin and leaves it feel so soft. Ive almost ran out and I'm devastated but i can assure you i intend on repurchasing it soon.
Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft Matte Foundation
This foundation really surprised me, i wasn't sure at first but the more and more i use it the more i fall in love with it. It leaves my skin with a soft, flawless matte finish. The best way i can explain it, is that it leaves my skin looking almost doll-like. It doesn't have a heavy coverage but paired with face powder it's become the perfect base for me.
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip 3D Lip Colour & Sculpt in Berry Much
This is a very creamy matte lip product, it's really lovely to wear and it feels comfortable on, its not drying. I own three of these but I've worn this one the most, Berry Much which is a gorgeous purple plum shade - it's a pretty good dupe for Mac Rebel Lipstick. It's such a lovely lip product and they're really cheap too.
I did a blog post all about this but i grew up watching/obsessed with Annie so to finally see it live on stage and seeing all the characters come to life was amazing.
I recently discovered Bullet Journalling and it's safe to say I've become obsessed. I just love it, it's the perfect way to track your productivity but it also makes you want to be productive. I'm not going to go into too much detail because i plan on doing some posts all about it soon but I've thoroughly been enjoying bullet journalling.
Guys & Dolls
Another theatre show i went to this month. I wasn't as familiar with the story of Guys & Dolls but i really enjoyed it nonetheless. I loved the theatrics of it, the songs and the costumes - i don't know exactly when it was set but it had a real kind of 50s theme to it and i really like that. Richard Fleeshman was also in it and he was pretty damn good, he sang really well too.
Since making my blanket (i will be doing a post on it in the next few weeks) i fell out of the sewing loop, i didn't quite know what to make next and i was a bit scared of trying anything in case i failed after my blanket going well. So i decided to do something small and make myself an eye mask. It's not perfect but i made it in about an hour and i love it. It's so soft and comfortable to wear and i like that it's reversible and i can use both sides.
I can't actually remember who it was but someone on my instagram posted a picture of these and i knew i had to try them and it's safe to say, since then I've been obsessed. They're a seasonal edition so I've already been and stocked up on a couple of boxes because ill be gutted if they disappear. They're so tasty and even if you aren't a massive coconut fan you'll still enjoy these because the flavour isn't overpowering it's actually quite subtle and really lovely.
Malteaser Malteaster Bunnies
Trust me to become addicted to something that only comes out once a year. I know these have been out for years but I've just never been phased by them until i randomly had one the other week and dipped it into my brew and oh my god - it was amazing. Since then I've been on a bit of a rampage stocking up on them.
Goals for April:
1. Continue trying to use a meal plan for each week.
2. Read at least two more books.
3. Post more on instagram.
