Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm

Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm

The last cleansing balm i tried was the Body Shop Chamomile one and i loved it so when Merumaya very kindly offered to send me their Melting Cleansing Balm* for review, i instantly agreed. I really enjoyed using the cleansing balm, so i jumped at the chance to try another one and i was also a little curious to see how it compares.

Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm

When i first received this i was surprised to see it in a tube, i assumed it would be a solid balm like The Body Shop's one so by this point i realised that it wasn't going to be the same. Thankfully, it's even better. This is actually more of a thick creamy balm (if that makes any sense).

To use, i apply this to my dry face and massage it in until it emulsifies, add water to it so it turns into a milk and then wash it away. I find it really enjoy massaging this into my face; it's so creamy and soft, it's my favourite part of using it because it's just so relaxing. It's not very often i look forward to using a skincare product but with this i do. The first time i used it, i genuinely expected to look in the mirror and find half of my make up still on - it requires so little effort that i wasn't convinced it'd remove it properly but every last bit was gone, even my mascara and eyeliner.

It just melts into the skin, removes make up so easily and it leaves your skin feel so hydrated, calm and refreshed. I love how my skin feels after using this and I've even stopped using my L'Oreal Cleansing Oil since i got this, which trust me is a big deal because that is my holy grail make up remover.

I'll be honest and say if i wasn't a blogger and given the opportunities that i am, i probably wouldn't have considered trying Merumaya mostly because it's way out of my budget. I'm really lucky to have received some of their products to try, so now that i know how well they work, i promise you they are worth the price. I'm honestly falling head over heels for this skincare brand because so far I'm yet to find a product i dislike and my skin is reaping in the benefits. Once I've used up some of my existing skincare products, i intend on making an order and buying some of their other products because they are amazing and such good quality.

The Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm retails for £16.50 and is available to buy on their website.

  1. I love cleansing balms, but my favourites are all super pricey (upwards of £30), so I'm always looking for cheaper alternatives. This sounds absolutely gorgeous and well worth a try!
