I was very lucky to try a Taffy Mail box last month (see here) but due to it being a PR Sample, i assumed it was a one off and i never expected to receive another so i was very surprised and very grateful when i picked this up from the post office. I have a very sweet tooth, so i can't explain how nice it is to receive a box full of American Sweeties to try out.
I explained all the different types of boxes available from Taffy Mail in my last post from there, but if you'd like more information definitely check out there website. I believe this one is the Classic box which at £14.99 you get 10-12 sweets and a drink too - which is quite a lot.
I really like American sweets and even though they are becoming much easier to get hold of here in the UK, the ones I've received in this box and in the last have been ones that I've not tried before and i really like that because personally I'd be a bit miffed to be paying to get a box full of sweets you can find down the shops. However, i don't know if they do this intentionally or whether I've just been really lucky with my boxes.
Inside my box I got:
- Yoohoo Chocolate Drink
- Milk Duds
- Turtles Bitesize
- Jolly Rancher Chews
- Milky Way Simple Caramel Bunny
- Nerds: Peach & Wild Berry
- Day's Pineapple Soda
- Mike & Ike Tropical Typhoon
- Tootsie Roll
- Rice Krispies Treats Blasted with M&Ms
- Snickers Crisper
There are two things in this box that i know i don't like and that i won't like which is the Yoohoo Chocolate drink, as i just don't like chocolate milk type drinks but I'm sure one of my friends will enjoy this. Also, the Combos - i have actually tried these before and a couple of them are okay but they're made with real cheese and they get really sickly so quickly.
I was really excited to see the Jolly Rancher Chews in the box because i adore Jolly Ranchers, they're amazing and these chews are really nice too and i also really like the Turtles Bitesize, it had caramel and nuts in and was really tasty. I've not tried everything in the box yet but I'm slowly making my way through it and I'm rather enjoying it.
I'm really looking forward to trying the Snickers Crisper and the Rice Krispies treats next. I don't know if this means I'm going to be getting a box every month or what but i can not praise Taffy Mail enough and i definitely won't be complaining if more boxes come through my letter box. It's the perfect monthly subscription for anyone with a sweet tooth!
