I heard about the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip 3D Lip Colour & Sculpt briefly a little while ago but after that they weren't featured much on blogs etc... so they quickly slipped from my mind. I came across them again whilst making a Boots order and decided to give them a try.

I initially only ordered two of them but a third one slipped into my basket along with some other things when i was picking my Boots order up. The main things that caught my eye about these was the price; Soap and Glory are usually a little more expensive so when i saw these were only £3.50 - i was very intrigued and almost felt like i was grabbing myself a little bargain.

Now that i physically own them, i understand why they're cheaper than the other products and that's because they're a lot smaller than your average lip crayon. I actually love the size of these because they're nice and compact and take up very little space but it's also very rare that i finish a full lipstick, so not as much will go to waste because they're a lot smaller. I also love the packaging of these, they're so sleek and have a matte texture to them. The silver silhouette against the array of colours really stand out and they look like it should be much more expensive than they are.

Exactly as the name suggests these are matte lip products but they have a very creamy formula, so they apply really nicely and feel comfortable on the lips yet have a completely matte finish. They last pretty well on the lips, you get a good few hours wear out of them more out of the bolder shades like Berry Much because as time passes the colour fades to a stain - evenly. I didn't like to reapply them to much because as the product builds up on your lips it starts to feel a bit dry, but i didn't feel the need to reapply too much anyway except after food or drink.

Chocoberry is a brown toned pink, it's quite muted but it's really pretty. It's a really great colour for when you want something a little bolder than a nude lip but you don't want anything really dark or bright. I personally think this is quite a sophisticated shade and i like it a lot.

Berry Much is the shade I've probably worn the most; it's a purply plum shade, it's actually a pretty good dupe for Mac Rebel in terms of the shade. I really love plum shades, i love that vampy and edgy feel they add to a make up look.

Pretty Muted is a pink shade, this is the one that first caught my eye with it saying 'Muted' i expected it to be quite a mauve toned pink, so i do think the name is misleading as i wouldn't describe it as muted. That being said it's still a really gorgeous pink shade and one I'm still happy to wear.

There is six shades available in total and for £3.50, i think these are brilliant little lip products. I love the size, the formula and the finish. They're such good quality and make a great addition to your make up collection.
