Bullet Journal | May Set-Up

Bullet Journal | May Set-Up

As most of you know, I've been Bullet Journalling for over two months now and i love it (and any excuse to talk about it) I shared a flip through post of my entire journal not too long ago (see here) and thought some of you might also be interested in seeing my May Set Up too.

I've purposely left posting this til half way through the month just so there is a bit more to see and the pages wont be so plain, otherwise i think this post will be a bit boring otherwise. I'm thinking about maybe turning this into a monthly series and it'll also be good way to share any additional pages i may do. As my Bullet Journal features some personal things, some bits will be covered.

There's not much to say about my May Favourites and Goals page as I've kept it virtually the same as this layout is working for me and it seems silly to change it. I've switched up my May Blog Post tracker page and I'm really happy with it this month because as well as keeping track of what posts I'm doing, I've created more of a grid style layout where i can track where I'm up to with each post so i can track if the photos are done, if I've drafted it, scheduled it, scheduled my tweets, pinned it etc... It's really helpful being able to see where I'm up to and it's made keeping on top of my posts much easier.

My May Memories page and May Habit Trackers are also pretty much the same as last month. April was a really busy month so I'm hoping that this months memories page is just as easy to fill too - so far, I'm not doing too bad though. As for the Habit Tracker, I've switched up a few of the things that I'm tracking and it's not as full as I'd like as I've been slacking a little bit but i still like tracking the different things.

I actually quite my weekly layout for 2nd - 8th May - i used a free planner kit sticker printable and used it to decorate the pages a little and i think it's worked pretty well. On each layout, I've been including a little gratitude log and also a 'next week' section where i can jot down anything i need to remember for the following week and also my shifts for the week ahead.

I also started Slimming World this month so I've been creating meals plans for the weeks to help me avoid eating badly - i actually write them in pencil first just so if anything does change i won't mess it up too much but so far I've been pretty good and stuck to the plan. I've also created a page to track my weight gains or losses after each weigh in.

Additional Pages:

I decided to add a bill tracker, so just i can monitor how much I'm paying out each month and i cross through it when it's paid so i know it's done. I created a page to track what blog photos i need to do but the page just doesn't working for me so I've covered it with a quote instead.

I've had to do a second online orders page because I'm really terrible and keep ordering lots of bits and bobs from Ebay and I've also done a travel bucket list. This page was just a bit of fun - there's a lot of places I'd love to visit at some point so i thought I'd start a list and who knows, maybe one day I'll get to check some off.

I also wanted to show you my weekly layout for last week (25th April to 1st May)- I've been eyeing up planner stickers off Etsy for a while now but they end up being quite expensive so when i came across free printable planner kits on pinterest i decided to order some cheap sticker paper and have a go at doing them myself, they're not perfect but they're good enough for me. I won't need full planner kits for my bullet journal so i can get rid of any bits i won't need but i really like some of the elements that you get with the kits. I found this 'Cinderella' themed kit so i included parts of it in my last layout and i think it looks super cute.

What do you think? Would you like me to turn this into a monthly series?

  1. This is such a great idea and I really enjoyed reading this post! You are very good at keeping it going. I tried doing something like this and got fed up with filling it in after a couple of weeks x

  2. Looks great! I love the idea of bullet journalling and I have started one but I'm not very good at keeping up with it. I find I end up needing to have a regular diary as well for stuff. I need to persevere with it i think and find a way to make it suit me. I'd definitely be interested in seeing further posts of how you get on with yours.
