I don't feel like i haven't got that many favourites this month because i don't quite know where the month has gone. It doesn't seem all that long ago that i was writing my April Favourites post, it's crazy. It scary to think that next month we are half way through 2016 already, it's so bizarre because it feels like New Year's Eve was only last week.
Avon Tinted Lip Balm in Protecting Peach
I've been wearing this pretty much everyday, it's just so easy to apply and it's the perfect everyday lip that require very little effort. As it's a lip balm it's really hydrating and moisturising and it gives a lovely tint of peach to the lips.
Maybelline Brow Satin in Dark Brown
I've been using this for the longest time and i can't believe I've never mentioned it on my blog or even reviewed it as it's such a good brow product. I still adore my Freedom Brow Pomade but it's a bit too much effort for everyday wear. The Maybelline brow satin is dual ended, one side is a pencil that you can use to outline your brows and the other side is like a powder and you use that to fill them in. It's so easy to use and it gives me really natural yet full looking brows.
Zoeva En Taupe Palette
I've fallen head over heels for this palette - i love the cocoa blend one too, but i feel like I've used En Taupe more and it's just won me over completely. It has such a beautiful range of neutral shades that have a slight silver/purple tone to them. I just can't say enough good things about this palette, it's gorgeous and the eyeshadows are really great quality, really pigmented and you can create some really lovely eye looks.
Make Up Revolution Matte Blush in Nude
I've wanted a simple everyday blush that would add a bit of colour to the cheeks but was very subtle and simple - just something to tie the rest of my make up together and i think this is it. It's a warm toned brown but it's so beautiful, I've been wearing this everyday as it's really great for just finishing off my make up and adding a subtle pop of colour to the cheeks.
Ben Nye Banana Powder
This is a bit of a cheat as I've not owned it that long but I'm so impressed. I only use it when I'm wearing a full face of make up and I've been using it to 'bake' my make up - I'm still learning how to do it but whenever I've used this my skin is so much brighter looking and it also gives my skin quite a flawless finish. As it's loose it is a really messy powder but it's worth it.
I had 2 new tattoos done at the beginning of the month and i love them. I adore getting tattoos and I'm so happy with my two latest additions - I'm thinking about doing a post on all my tattoos, I'm not sure but do let me know if that's something you would like to see.
I decided to join Slimming World at the start of this month, i was just tired of my eating habits and felt like i was constantly gaining weight. It has been one hell of a challenge, and i do miss all my unhealthy treats but so far I've lost over half a stone. I've never ever been able to stick to a diet before, so the fact that I'm still doing it a month later and barely straying, makes me really proud of myself.
I adore Footloose, it's one of my all time favourite films. So seeing it come to stage is amazing, this is the second time I've seen the stage version and it was really good. It was done differently from the first one i saw but it was still brilliant all the same. I love going the theatre and i can't wait to go see all the shows that I've got booked for this year.
Goals for June:
1. Decide on my next sewing project.
2. Reach my 1 stone award.
What have you been loving during the month of May?
