My Favourite Make Up Brushes

My Favourite Make Up Brushes

I talk about lots of make up products here on my blog but i don't always mention my make up brushes much - I've gathered a little bit of a collection over the past few years so i thought I'd share with you a few of my favourites.

EBay Bold Metals Contour Brush
I don't know how much this compares to the original Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush but this Ebay dupe is so good. I really like to contour and this brush makes it so easy to do - as it's quite small, it's the perfect size to get into the hollows of your cheeks and it blends out the contour really well too so you're not left with any harsh lines.

Pencil Crease Brush
I don't know if this is a dupe of any brush in particular but it cost me less than £1 off EBay. As the name suggests it's a pencil brush - so it's very narrow brush, perfect for applying eyeshadow into the crease of the eye and it allows you to have a more control over the application. It's also quite fluffy brush too so it's good for blending out the crease and avoiding any harsh lines. I find using this brush makes all the difference to my eye make up because i can get really good control of the application.

Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
I love this brush for whenever i just want to quickly apply eyeshadow all over the lid as it's quite a big brush so it makes applying the eyeshadow so easy. It's also very fluffy so it blends out the eyeshadow at the same time, it's so quick and easy to use and it's so soft too!

Real Techniques Angled High Lighter Brush
Highlighter is one of my favourite products to apply and this brush makes it so easy to get that effortless glow. It's a small angled fluffy brush which makes application so easy and effortless. It's the perfect size, shape and angle for applying the highlighter to the cheekbones but its still small enough to apply the product under the brow bone, down the nose and anywhere else you need the highlighter.

So those are my favourite and most used brushes, what are yours?
