A few weeks ago Sleek had a 2 for £10 offer on so along with their beautiful Solstice Highlighting Palette (Review here), i also picked up the Sleek Corrector and Concealer Kit.
I didn't really have a plan on what other product i was going to pick up and in hindsight i kind of wish i'd picked up their cream contour kit but at the time i didn't know what to go for and picked up their corrector and concealer kit. If you've followed me for a while you'll know that i'm yet to find that perfect/holy grail concealer - i decided to try this because of the corrector that came with it so i was curious to see what it was like.
This palette is an all in one kit and it comes with a corrector, a concealer and a setting powder. The corrector is a pink/peach shade, it's really creamy and works great to neutralize any dark undertones under the eye. The concealer is more on the yellow side and i do worry that it's a little dark for me but once the rest of my make up is done it doesn't look so bad - this too has a very thick, creamy consistency and it does conceal your undereyes well. The setting powder has a nice fine, silky consistency and it's great at setting the two cream products in place.
I like too blend out the two cream products with sponges as i feel like brushes just move the products around rather than blending them out but a brush or your fingers works fine for dabbing the setting powder over the top.
I really love the corrector out of this kit and would quite happily purchase this on its own as i think it's a brilliant product, that being said together all these products are a great combination and work well to cover your undereyes, i have used the creamy concealer on my blemishes and it does work but i personally think it's much better for concealing the undereyes.
This kit is packaged in the standard blank casing like most Sleek products but this has more of a matte feel - it feels alot more luxurious and as a slight Nars feel to the packaging. This is a nice handy size too and it wouldn't take up to much room to keep in your handbag or to take travelling with you.
What corrector and concealer do you like to use?
