Halloween is fast approaching and i am so excited; it's one of my favourite times of the year and my friends and i, like to get all dressed up and go out. My absolute favourite part of getting all dressed up is doing the make up because it's that one time of the year where you can really go all out and really be creative.
This year, Freedom and Make Up Revolution have teamed up and launched some Halloween Make Up product so naturally, i made a little order.
Over the past few years, I've just made do with items in my own collection to do my make up (minus things like Fake Blood or face paint) because i find a lot of stage make up can be really expensive and it's not easily available. So i think it's amazing that they've launched this range at such affordable prices too - this post is not sponsored by the way, i bought these items with my own money. I'm just really pleased to see Halloween Make Up that's affordable and easy to buy
This year i planning on going as a Zombie so here's the make up that I've picked up...
Make Up Revolution Ghost Sculpt | £4.00
A dual powder with white on one side and a black/charcoal shade on the other. This is a heck of a lot bigger than i expected and I'm really excited to use this as its going to be perfect to contouring the face and really give you that creepy, hollow, close to death look to the skin.
Make Up Revolution Ghost Powder | £2.00
In hindsight, i didn't really need to get this because it is just the white powder that comes with the Ghost Sculpt but it was very cheap and it means i can take this out with me on the night and powder myself if needed. The packaging for this is awesome - the powder swings out at the side and the bottom of it has a nice sized mirror. I may be easily pleased but it's just nice to see something different.
Freedom SFX Fake Blood | £2.00
No Halloween Make Up haul would be right without some fake blood in it now would it? I normally get mine from a pound shop as it's cheap and works but i decided to pick this one up for a change because i was making an order anyways.
Freedom SFX Liquid Latex | £2.00
The last thing i got from this range is the Liquid Latex - I've been watching a lot of youtube tutorials for zombie make up and so many use this along with the fake blood to create scars and torn looking skin so i got myself some. I'm actually really excited to play with this because some of the tutorials I've seen look amazing and I'm really hoping mines turns out the same way.
Laval Secret Beauty White Foundation | £2.74
This isn't available in the range, I actually ordered this off Ebay (brand new) because i want to have a really pale base but i don't want to use a face paint as i feel like that will be too intense so i picked up this white foundation for a more naturally pale look.
I've not tried any of these out yet but I'm so excited to have a play around with them and to use them to create my Zombie look. I'm so excited for Halloween - I'll most likely be sharing photos over on my instagram of my costume and the night out itself (possible on my insta story too) so feel free to follow me over there, if you'd like to see how it turns out!
What are you going as for Halloween?
