A lot of this months products have been rediscoveries for me; I've not done a whole lot this month so I've actually kept my make up pretty basic and not really switched up a lot except for reintroducing some products - sometimes it's quite nice to shop your stash and fall back in love with products you once used.
YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation
This is starting to run low which is part of the reason i put it in my drawer and moved onto other foundations because i don't want to run out yet but it's such a lovely foundation that i decided to get it back out. It has a medium to heavy coverage and it gives the skin the most naturally flawless finish. I wear this mostly for nights out because i love how it leaves my skin - it's definitely a little on the pricey side but i really like it and it feel really nice to wear, it's so light on the skin not to mention this foundation has the most beautiful bottle!
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer
I adore this highlighter and completely stand by the hype that surrounds it, i did put it aside when i got the Sleek Solstice Palette in my collection (also an amazing highlighter) but I've found myself back using this because it's just beautiful. It's a golden champagne toned highlighter and it gives the most stunning glow to the skin and i can't get enough of it.
Maybelline Brow Satin
I used this non-stop for the longest time but then i got sent the brow range from Natural Collection and i received another Soap and Glory Brow Archery so i was using them for a little while but I've now come back to it and i love it just as much as first time round. It's dual ended - one is a twist up pencil that works for shaping and defining the brows, the other is like a sponge applicator that fills in the brows. It makes filling in your brows to easy and i feel like its gone a little unnoticed in the beauty world.
Zoeva Cocoa Blends Palette
I bought this eyeshadow palette back in May/June time and i found myself barely using it, i think it was because it's a very autumnal themed palette with rich chocolate toned shades and it was just a bit too much for the summer time. I dug it out this month as it's the perfect time to use it and it's such a good palette - the eyeshadows are so pigmented, they blend beautifully and they last really well before creasing. It;s such a good quality and I've been loving using this, especially for nights out because you can create some really beautiful eye looks.
Eyeko Black Magic Mascara
I wasn't too crazy about this when i first got it, the formula was just far too wet so the mascara constantly transferred from my lashes to my eyelids and when you've just done your eyeshadow it's pretty annoying. I stopped using it for a little while and now that it's starting to dry up a little bit its so much easier to use, It barely transfers like it did before. The brush has a nice curved shape to it that coats and separates the lashes really nicely and adds length to the lashes.
