The Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette* has very quickly become a everyday staple in my make up routine and I'm absolutely loving it. I received this palette at the start of October when Boot's very kindly sent me a selection of their products for their #Faceoff Instagram campaign.
This little palette comes with a highlighter (a subtle golden champagne tone), contour (a soft brown tone) and blush shades (a pink coral tone) and together the combinations adds definition and structure to the face.
I was a little underwhelmed the very first time i used this palette as it is very soft and subtle but i fall in love with it more and more each day that i use it. If you are someone who really likes a bold and heavy contour, i don't think this will work for you but for an everyday natural contour this palette is perfect.
The contour is a gorgeous soft brown tone - it's not heavily pigmented so it really nice and subtle, it is a little buildable but i actually love that it's so natural because i don't like my contour to be too heavy even when I'm wearing a full face of make up, it may be bolder than normal but i still like it to look as natural as possible. This contour shade also works really warming up the face and there has been many occasions when I've used this as a bronzer instead.
The highlighter is a lovely golden toned champagne shade and again is very subtle but gives a really lovely glow to the cheek bones (wherever else it's applied), it compliments the contour really nicely. The highlighter also doubles up great as an eyeshadow, I've worn it so much alone all over the lid and it's a really lovely base colour - i particular like wearing this for work because it brightens up the eyes and makes me look a little more awake.
The blush is a coral/pink toned blush and it's really beautiful; it's very soft and offers a very subtle hint of colour to the cheeks but together the contour, highlighter and blush work wonders - adding definitely to the skin and giving an overall healthy glow to the face.
It retails for about £6.99 which for Rimmel is a little more pricey than normal but having tried this product, i personally think it's well worth the money - it's so beautiful and it has become a staple in my everyday make up routine!
