The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Exfoliator

The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Exfoliator

I've been having a right mare with my skin lately. I ran out of my face scrub and the cold winter weather attacked, leaving my skin feeling horrible, bumpy and so dry - it honestly felt like sandpaper. So when i discovered that The Body Shop was having a £25 off when you spend £50, i decided to treat myself - i bought myself a lovely selection of products including The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Exfoliator.

I tried this as soon as it came through the door and i could instantly feel an improvement in my skin - it's not a miracle worker, my skin was hadn't cleared up completely but i could definitely see and feel an improvement. It's targeted at combination and oily skin, I've always thought that my skin was normal to dry but I'm beginning to think it might be combination. To be completely honest with you, i didn't even consider what skin type this might be for and i just really liked the sound of it so i got it and i feel like i made a good choice.

Its a nice and gentle exfoliator and a little bit goes a long way - i only use a pea size amount and that is enough to scrub my entire face. It's a soap free, gel based cleanser that has little jojoba beads which helps to deep cleanse and remove any dead skin. In an attempt to try and clear my awful face, I did get a little carried away with this scrub at first and i over-used it (I'm talking everyday, twice a day) and made my skin very sensitive and tender, which wasn't great. However, learn from my mistake and only use it a few times a week.

I have noticed a massive difference in my skin since using this scrub though and it's only been a short amount of time since i got it but my face has now completely cleared up (it feels even smoother and softer than before). I obviously wouldn't recommend over using it the way i did at first, but it has now become my go to scrub in my skin care routine - its so gentle and my skin feels incredible. It is a little on the pricey side, it retails for £10 but The Body Shop are always doing amazing offers of some kind.

What's your favourite scrub?
